Liam looked around thoughtfully before walking to a partially filled shelf. He grabbed the only book on the top shelf and handed it to Alex. The book was called Fire Bringer . "This is one of my favorites. It tells the story of a young Red Deer named Rannoch who is prophesized to save all the deer in his home valley in Scotland. It's a really good book," Liam explained.

It really is a good book though. I've read it twice. XD )

Alex grabbed the book gently and opened he cover reading a bit of it. After a few minuets he just started to read the first chapter and got sucked in

Liam grinned and grabbed a book of his own. It was The Complete Works of Sherlock Holmes. After a few minutes he was zoned out and could hear nothing. He was intently focused on the book.

Alex sat there reading as the hours flew by. Around 4 he finally finished and set the book down. He looked around as the world around him spun from reading to much

Liam looked up as Alex stood. He rubbed his eyes and put his book back on the table. "Wow time flies when you have a good book. Did you like it lad?" Liam questioned.

Alex nodded but gave up on walking and climbed onto Liam's lap tired

"Sleep lad. You haven't gotten much over the past few days. Sleep now," Liam whispered softly to the boy.

Alex nodded, he didn't want to sleep by the call over took him and he passed out on Liam's lap sleeping peacfully

Liam kissed the top of the boy's head and picked up his book again. He was zoned out once more in the book and waited for either their 10 minute bell to ring or for Alex to wake up.

Alex suddenly jumped up and sat in Liam's lap blank "I'm hungry" he looked at Liam "can we eat" he smiled being awake at 6
