"Well, judging by the look of the blanket." She picked up the blanket and studied it, "The stitching is professional and the signature of whoever owns it makes it seem like it may be from a lord or lady not as low down as a pauper or high up as the king." She threw the small blanket at him so he can study it for himself. She took a piece from the bread and ate it. It had been a while since she had such good bread as this.

He caught the blanket with his left hand, rubbing his hand on the soft material. After another second staring at Lilith, he focused his attention on the blanket. He shrugged and tossed it back. "So, tell me more about this... Hunter, guy." He stretched out his legs again, getting a bit antsy. God how he hated being still.

(I'm tempted to have my 'lady' character come rushing onto the scene and yell at them for taking her food, haha)

"Hunter?"Asked Lilith, "Well, there's not really much more to tell than what I just have. Wha doy you want to know about him?" She caught the blanket and placed it back over the basket and hid the basket under her cloak though the blanket was still visible. She stretched her arms and sighed as Duke plopped himself down in between them.

Nero opened his mouth to reply, however his word were cut short as a loud crash sounded from a denser part of the forest. Nero stood, quickly unsheathing his sword with a clean sharp hiss. Dropping into a defensive position, he slowly moved to stand between Lilith and the strange noise. An automatic part of his training, however he was trained to protect princesses and Ladies, not thieves. A few seconds later he ducked out of the way as a round object came hurtling at his head. "Duck!"

Lily rolled her eyes but ducked, whoever had made the noise had frightened Duke as he went charging into the forest. Lily shook her head, "He used to be a horse of war, he was trained to charge at loud noises." She explained to Nero as she peered over his shoulder and stared into the forest. "What was that?" She whispered.

He shook his head. Putting a hand on the lady's shoulder "All that matters is you're safe. I'd advise you bring Elmont next time, he is a man I can trust to protect you two." He knew the knight was there, but hadn't acknowledged his presence until he was done giving Sapphire a good, firm but tender stare into her eyes. It was only until then that it came to his attention that someone alike her would make a proper queen. Though, he had selected two heirs and princesses to wed off and seal alliances with other kingdoms, but this was done in fright of loosing his kingdom after he left. He was a man of 36, and his father died at 42. If he wanted to do his family honor and have a son to take his place, he would have to be quicks out it, death may come early to him. As generous and kind he is, he still had enemies; assuming the rebels might be the relatives of outlaws he killed himself. He took the duty of the executioner, for it was his belief that the man who ordered a life to end should be the one to take it. He had waited awhile before replying to Elmont, nodding in response to his greeting "Ser Elmont." he said with an almost friendly smirk. "They rode alone. You are one of my most trusted knights. If it is of no trouble on your part, I wouldn't worry if you came with them next time. Your sword and loyalties are strong, Elmont. I'd find it hard to trust another with them." he said this is a low tone, one with power and grace. He kept his hand on Sapphire's shoulder, only releasing when he noticed it was there.

A harsh snarling sound and neighing were heard from very close by. Nero, coming out from the safety of the stump, rolled over to the round object to find... A dog toy. Sitting up, he looked to Lilith in confusion. At that moment a girl of 16 years stormed into the clearing, her hands balled into fists. "You two took my stuff!" She shouted, stalking over to Lilith and yanking out the blanket. She shook it in her fist. "Mine. Not yours! Mine." She turned to Nero who put his hands up in defeat. Allowing no mercy, the girl started hitting him with the blanket. In between hits, she managed to get a few, mostly unsayable in this forum, words. "I. should. have. known. it was. you. you sTUPID. STUPID. IDIOT. DONT TAKE MY STUFF. SLEEP WITH ONE. EYE OPEN. BECAUSE I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP!" Nero, in an attempt to calm the girl, repeated the same phrases over again during her raging attack. 'Teller, Teller calm down. just breathe, its fine."
After she finished her attack she turned with a look of fury to Lilith. Nero looked mostly confused, looking from one girl to the next.

Lilith had to hide her smirk as she watched Nero attempt the calm her down. When the girl glared at her, Lilith couldn't help but to start laughing. She covered her face with one side of the cloak, trying to stop but finding it impossible. [Wb~
