Melissa: I looked at my phone clock. "Come on, Jake, you said you'd be here by 5:00 to talk. Come on." I grumbled angrily. It was un-naturally cold tonight, and I knew that his step-brother would try to stop him, but come on. I sighed with relief when I saw his red hair. "Jake! Over here!" I shouted, not trying my best to keep quiet. Jake put a finger to his lips, and I shut up quickly. He came up to me and asked "What is it? You said we need to talk? About what?" I shook my head and said quietly "Okay, so you know how I have been kinda weird lately?" He nodded his head. "Well, this old man told me I was, well, a Goddess." Jake looked at me with relief. "The same thing happened to me, Mel. Except, well, I was a God." He whispered. I nodded. "Well, if we are, then, what of?" I asked. "I don't know." he said, shaking his head.
