Foreign Crown Princess

Ravyn walked into the courtroom and took her seat next to Lady Autumn, her and Lady Autumn were the second highest ranking people being here next to Renn. Since he was the king then crown princes/princesses come next that would be but no one knew yet that she was a crown princess they still all thought she was 3rd in line for the throne not second but she would have to tell them if they hadn't already heard, somehow the advisors always knew what was happening to the royals in other kingdoms especially rich and thriving ones like hers. Seeing the king and Autumn eating her stomach growled, she hadn't had breakfast yet.

Jayden walked over to the now closed doors of the courtroom. It would be his job to stand outside and not let anyone in. He couldn't hear what was going on through the thick mahogany doors he was standing in front of. If anyone came he would have to knock, enter, tell the advisors and do whatever they told him to do from there.

I am open to any 1x1 roleplays, pm me if you would like to do one it would be better if you were in a time zone close to AEST (10+) so that we could both be online at similar times. If you have any low semi-lit to semi-lit role plays that are historical, wolf, warrior cat, humanoids (not based of anything) or Harry Potter themed then pm me the link and I will look at them.

Drake "Red"

Mood:Sore and tired.
Location:An ally near the market square.

I was rudely awoken by a splash of water as a carriage rode by. Groggily I sat up examining my wet blanket. "I guess I'll have to make I change of costumes while this drys." I mumbled bitterly as I bundled the tattered cloth up.
Picking up my old pack and blanket I found an exposed rafter deeper in the ally where I could hang my blanket. Take a quick look around to make sure the coast was clear I quickly changed into some simple faded tattered cloths. I then stuffed my other clothes in my pack and hid that with me blanket. I walked out of the ally wrapping a a tattered red scarf around my neck. I was ready for business, unfortunately I awoke much earlier then usually do and had no intention of sitting around for a few hours. I decided to take a walk to pass the time.

Jedephry Lancresh

Mood: Bored and restless.
Location:In a carriage heading to the castle

I sat in my carriage looking out the window as we passed threw the merchant district on the way to castle. I disliked ridding in a carriage and would have rather walked, but I had to keep up appearances. I glanced over at my father old figure with a sigh. He did not have much time left in this world, he and the whole family knew it. He was spending his last days to put one last mark on the world by putting me on the thrown. I would not let him down, but for now I was suppose to have no power and just sit quietly and look good to the court. with that we rolled into the castle. As we got out of the carriage a servant pointed us in the direction of the meeting. As we entered I noted the current king come down the hall. I then turned back to the room and took my seat next to my father. I bit my tongue as the subject was discussed and my father nodded in approval. I had to tell myself it's just an act to hold favor with the court.
To each there own. Mine, however, is what everyone else has.

When in doubt go left.

The streets were just beginning to come alive with quiet conversation when my father decided to open up shop for the day. I helped him drape fresh silks across the various countertops in the room, bright and lively against the polished mahogany wood. Even though I had a terrible business mind, as my father often liked to tease, even I could appreciate the quality of the fabric -- our new shipment of silk was light and airy and soft as a spiderweb, perfect for springtime. After exchanging the pot of withered brown daffodils sitting in the front window with a fresh vase of daisies, I turned to face my father, who had stationed himself near the back of the room, cloth and needle in hand. He had dark hair to match my own, a neatly trimmed moustache and a pair of crooked glasses set on his nose, squinting at his stitches.

"Papa, I'm going out for a bit," I called, slipping out of the shop just in time to hear his non-commital noise of assent. Pot of dead flowers in hand, I went on over to the large tree that marked the center of the plaza, breathing in the cloying scent of springtime. After scattering the contents around the base of the tree, I stood back, letting the slight breeze pick up the ends of my hair. It was in calm, breezy weather like this that I loved to perform my magic, and as much as I would have liked to go off and practice my fire-breathing or my card tricks, there was work to be done back in the shop. Sighing, I backed up a few paces -- and yelped when I saw a figure sitting amidst the branches of the tree.

I inhaled sharply and craned my head upwards to get a better look. "Hey!" I called, albeit apprehensively. The last thing I wanted was for that girl -- it was definitely a girl, because boys simply did not have hair that long -- to get startled and God forbid, fall out of the tree. "I don't mean to be rude, but what on Earth are you doing up there? You'll break more than a few bones if you fall from that height, you know."

It seemed that I'd find myself without anything to do other than my usual stealing for today. How unfortunate. With nothing but time on my hands I peered through the branches and dense groupings of leaves to watch the clouds below. A voice echoed in my keen ears and it was obviously female. I glanced down with a bored and uncaring expression at the owner of said voice and was quite disappointed at what I saw. This girl wasn't much to look at but I was familiar with her although she would have no clue as to who I was. Still, she could provide some amount of entertainment on such an uneventful of days.

Without even batting a lash at the long drop I slid off of my perch and allowed myself to fall freely for what felt like days although it was less than three seconds. My cloak billowed out, showing off the outfit that I wore today. A simple but ornate corset along with a pair of tight leggings. It wasn't the normal way for one such as myself to dress but it was easier to fight and move in the skimpy ensemble. I had some sense of modesty however seeing as my black cloak was enough to cover my body. My quick descent came to a halt as I latched onto a branch that was close to the ground before letting go and landing lightly and without a sound.

With confident and long strides I walked over to the girl and inspected her for a moment before speaking. "My dear, I can assure you that I'm more than capable of caring for myself. A common girl in a tree should be the least of your worries. I'm sure you have more important things to attend to. It isn't smart to waste your time with someone as mundane as myself." If anything I'd probably scare the poor girl off. It probably didn't help that I was practically purring every word. Ugh! I really needed to work on my people skills.

Ren Regis
Puppet King
Terrified, giving a speech
While Autumn's open resentment was a change Ren hadn't been expecting, he couldn't openly agree. "Autumn." He implored, looking nervous. "There are ears all over the castle that would love an excuse to exile the only people in this castle I like. Treason is always a good one. Keep quiet."

Ren noticeably winced as she went on to say that she would avenge his brother and the country. Most of the plans he heard as of late noticeably did not include himself. If she planned to rule the country -she had originally been set to be queen, after all- then Ren would have to die in the process. "Good luck." He offered simply, not able to form more of a response. He simply went to the meeting after, not offering another word to her.

"I apologize for the interruption." Ren said in regard to the food, doing his best to shrug off his advisor's glares. "Crown Princess Autumn and I both missed our first meal, so I had them-" He waved a hand towards his attendants. "-bring us some." With any luck, that would spare them punishment since they had had no choice in the matter, but Ren couldn't know.

He ate as the advisors discussed, already knowing what they would decide and what his response would be. The young king noticeably paled as they drew nearer to a conclusion, and he pushed the food to the side, feeling sick to his stomach. When they asked what his opinion was, he stood to speak. His hands clenched the edge of the table nearest to him, shaking slightly.

"32g is beyond what many commoner families make in a month. People who cannot afford all of a tax pay none of it. They group together, and they try to rebel." Taking a nervous breath, Ren continued. He couldn't agree to the impossible new tax, but there was always the likelihood that this disagreement would be the one that got him killed. "And there has already been word around the streets of rebellion if the taxes are raised again. The cost of military force to enforce the new tax and to crush any civilian opposition would be far higher then what would be gained from the raise."

Drawing another shaky breath, Ren finished up. "I oppose the tax raise. It has no benefit to anyone here or in the towns." With that, he sat down to see his advisor's reactions.

((It looks like a wrote a small novel here. eue" ))

Kelsey blinks awake and squints at the sunlight streaming into his room. Suddenly he shoots out of bed and pulls on an outfit at random, pulls open his door, and runs to where the meeting is. "I overslept, again!" he thinks, biting his lip nervously. he bursts into the room and takes his respected seat, smiling awkwardly. "So...what's this about?" he asks, trying to sound nonchalant, but failing miserably as his face grows hot.

Rosilina wanders around the market, waiting for a certain shop to open so she could get ingredients to make breakfast for her family. She looks over at the castle, her brow furrowed in thought. I wish I could know what's going on, she thinks, then sighs and begins to walk around the market to see which shops were already open.

(Bit of writer's block, sorry if they're a little short and non-descriptive. xP )

I wasn't particularly fazed by the girl's patronizing conversation starter, but the fact that she'd just jumped out of a tree that I would've killed myself getting down from was a little bit disconcerting to me. And judging by her choice of clothing -- honestly, what sort of commoner went around wearing that on a daily basis? -- she definitely wasn't as normal as she made herself out to be. I brushed a bit of dirt from the side of my flowerpot and frowned heavily. "You're right, I don't really have time to waste right now-" I glanced backwards at the silk shop, where my father was, no doubt, waiting impatiently for me to return, "-but when girls come jumping out at you from impossibly tall trees, it's sort of hard to ignore, don't you think?" I couldn't help but sound a little bit sardonic - there was just something wrong about being told off by a girl who looked hardly one year older than I was. Well, I suppose she thinks I'm just a child, I thought dully. It wouldn't be the first time.

I tapped the flowerpot one last time and began to shift my feet. "Anyway, if you insist on being left alone -- I've got to get back to work. I sell silks with my father, you know," I added, eyeing the long black cloak the girl had swathed herself in. "And, well - maybe it'd be in your best interest to pay us a visit? I'm sure you'd look better in lavender silk than that gilded corset you're wearing." I mused, sizing her up thoughtfully.

Despite the girl's undeniably childish appearance, it was quite apparent that she was a ways older than she looked. I'd learned from past experiences that not everything was as it seemed and judging by her mature way of speaking and carrying herself that she was somewhere near my own age. The girl was cute all the same even though she was about two inches taller than myself. In fact, I felt quite small standing in front of her but that didn't change the fact that I could best her in a fight without even trying. With that comforting thought, I grinned at the girl, a mischievous gleam lighting up my already bright blue eyes. "To be fair, I did not jump. I simply fell and caught myself in the nick of time.

A bit of luck brought on from a rabbit's foot I assure you."
My hair lifted and danced a bit in a passing breeze that made me wonder when my hair had come to be undone. Raven tresses flowing down to my waist in gentle waves met my eyes as I finally took a moment to glance down at myself. Her scrutiny of my choice in clothing definitely made me a bit self-conscious despite my normally confident façade. Maybe I could exchange a bit of my hard earned --well, mostly stolen-- money and go on to buy some proper clothing that would be more suitable for my occupation. Then again, I could always stick with my usual manner of acquiring things that I deemed necessary.

"Perhaps you're right. But unfortunately, I'm a terribly clumsy girl and would ruin such fine fabrics. Even worse, I'm painfully unskilled in the art of mending clothing so it'd be an unwise investment. Still, I'd actually like to take a looksee if you don't mind." I smirked and ran my fingers through my hair in an attempt to pull the curtain of black away from my eyes. Looking around wouldn't hurt anyone...yet. Depending on how nice everything was, I would probably resort to thievery.

Drake 'Red'

Mood: Tired and curious.
Location:The market square.

I had been wondering around and checking out various opening stores and stalls for about an hour or so, when I came across a shop that was usually closed in my free time. Taking a quick look threw the open door I was greeted by dozens of different brightly colored silk. I cast a quick look down at my gray tattered clothes, debating if I should go in or not. I really had nothing better to do and if I got thrown out, well it wouldn't be the first time. I give sigh at my life before entering the store careful not to get dirt over the fine silks.
To each there own. Mine, however, is what everyone else has.

When in doubt go left.

|| anyone open? I have Kovu and Kiara open ||
RIP JAZZY <3

Approximately one year ago, I woke up and said my final goodbyes to the best friend I have ever known. But Jasmine wasn't a human. No... Jasmine was a little tabby cat who showed me the true meaning of unconditional love. She was my muse and because of her, I still write today. RIP Jasmine Veronica. You have been missed terribly, even if we only had two years together and I will always remember you.
