Kat walked around the forest, collecting sticks and twigs for firewood.

A girl with long black hair, tied up into a messy bun, was in the forest also. But she was hacking out with her machete. She was fighting against nobody to see, except for somebody that she was imaging, had been fighting her. Her feet moved fast, as she imagined that her 'opponent' tried to jab her in the same spot. With some fancy hand work, she maneuvered the weapon into the air (which really was her imaginary opponent) and she stopped. "Well, that would've been more fun with an actual person." The girl huffed. Emily then took her machete, and chucked it at a tree, nailing it to stick into the tree.

Kay heard commotion and cautiously stepped forward. She drew her sword and watched as another girl practiced her fighting moves. She stayed silent and continued to watch. What would Miles do? she thought.

Emily went to walk towards her weapon to retrieve it from the tree, but she actually just kind of stood there for a moment. She had this weird feeling she was being watched. But in a way, she doubted it. Then again, there could have been something. The girl wasn't sure. So she then went to her machete.

Kat took a breath and crouched, ready to spring up. She leapt out of the bushes to face the girl, sword pointing at her opponent daringly. "State your business!" she commanded firmly, slightly swaying her hips back and forth, expecting a fight. She looked the girl over and noticed how much she looked like her...well age wise at least.

Emily was quick to react. Hearing someone leap, the girl took her machete out of the tree it was implanted in. She then pointed towards the other girl, seeing as too, a sword was pointed at herself. This girl seemed about the same age. With an arrogant snort, Emmy answered with a "Why don't you state your business, sneaking up on me. Hmm?" She asked, lowering her weaponry, to see it this stranger would do the same.

Kat held her sword up. Miles told her no one is a friend and to treat everyone else as an enemy unless you could completely trust them. She stood there, eyes flashing at the arrogant reply. "Just trying to survive here. How can I tell if you're militia or not, hmm? A spy, a bounty hunter, who knows. So let me ask you again. What's your business here?"
