Montgomery gripped the edge of the window and closed his eyes. "I need to remember..." He muttered in reply, before going still like he did when he had those visions. After standing quietly for a few minutes, he blinked his eyes open and looked outside the window from left to right

Haruto let out a soft whine as he grew even more nervous. He walked up to Montgomery and hugged his arm. "I'm scared." He whispered. "I don't want anything bad to happen... Nothing had can happen... Nothing bad will happen right?" He was really just saying it to try and calm down but it wasn't helping in the slightest. "T-that was a vision again right? What did you see?"

Montgomery hugged him and sighed quietly, "no it wasn't a vision this time, I was just trying to remember the old one." He smiled, trying to comfort Haruto and smoothed his hair down, "don't worry sweetie. You know I would never let anything ever hurt you, no matter what."

"Oh." Haruto said. "Okay." He hugged Montgomery tight and buried his face in his chest. "But that's what I'm afraid of." He whined. "I don't want you to get hurt trying to protect me from something!" He looked back out the window to try and see if there was anything suspicious or if there were any creepy shadows.

Montgomery sighed and kept trying to keep him calm. "Come on, don't worry. I can totally handle anything that's out there," he winked and smiled. "But I can't even hear anything anymore so it must have just been a bird or something that's long gone now," he insisted, seeing Haruto looking out the window and putting his fingers underneath his chin to turn his gaze back to him.

"Maybe." Haruto said. "But I don't know that for sure. What if there's some demon or something out there? Something even stronger than you are that has magic too?" He sighed softly and moved his head with Montgomery's fingers. "But what if it wasn't just a bird? What if it was something else? And what if it's still there?"

Montgomery sighed again and shook his head, "it's alright, don't worry too much." He tried to keep him calm as best as he could and smiled. "Odds are it really was a bird though, remember how they always seem to be around?" He quickly leaned forward and kissed Haruto before he had the chance to object to his theory.

"I can't help it." Haruto mumbled. "I always worry too much." He gently kissed Montgomery back but quickly pulled away. "I guess you're probably right." He said softly. "But I still can't help worrying. And your vision still hasn't happened yet, hasn't it been a while? Don't they usually come true faster than this?"

Montgomery pulled back and then shrugged as well. "They aren't always consistent in timing," he replied, looking at where the sun was from out the window.

Haruto sighed softly and nodded. "Okay." He said. "I'll try not to worry so much. I just don't want anything bad to happen. I don't want you to get hurt." He looked out the window again, just to be sure, then turned back to Montgomery and rested his head on his shoulder.
