Haruto started picking at his fingers from nervousness as he heard the students around him pushing back from their desks and packing up their books, getting ready to head back to the dorm rooms. He felt around the desk for his books and made sure he didn't leave any behind and then stood up, but he was afraid to walk anywhere in case he would accidentally run into someone.

Montgomery stood up with his books and thought for a moment, "I can see in the dark a lot better when I'm a wolf," he told Haruto, "if I changed I could lead us back to the dorms"

"But are you allowed to when you're in the school?" Haruto asked. "What if I changed? I can see in the dark when I'm a cat, but I don't think I would be able to see you if you changed and I didn't, so I would probably run into things.. But I don't know if it would make any difference between the both of us. I suppose maybe we could both change because I know that I wouldn't be able to see you in order to follow you around, and I'm not sure you would be able to see me either."

Montgomery laughed and shrugged, although he couldn't see it. "Well I'm not sure," he replied to all of Haruto's questions.

Haruto carefully felt around him to make sure nobody was too close. "Well then, I guess it's worth a shot." He said, before shifting into his cat form.

Montgomery stood up and felt around him and got to an open area. He shifted into a dark black wolf and looked around him, now being able to see

Haruto looked over to Montgomery and smiled, somewhat nervously. He knew that the black wolf now standing in Montgomery's place, was indeed Montgomery, but he still felt nervous. He also felt very small, the little calico cat being less than half the size of Montgomery in this form.

Montgomery smiled back, showing all of his sharp teeth but stopped quickly, hoping he wouldn't scare Haruto. He walked forward and nudged him softly with his nose

"I guess we should head back now." He said before attempting to pick his books up with his mouth. "That's something I didn't think through." He said.

Montgomery walked over to the table and picked up their book in his mouth. He nodded and made his way slowly to the door
