Bane - The Devil's Hand (Crew Member) - 17 and Talia - The Devil's Hand (Captain) - 18
Bane followed Talia with completely loyalty, Thor at his side panting away. The black great dane, still young so not as large as he would become looked around at everyone they passed. Talia simply made her way to the tavern, pushing past the merchants and other pirates who were eager to set up shop or load their cargo for the day. One more thing to do before they left, stock up on the food they'd need. She didn't need the crew coming down with anything she'd need to remember to trade for some more. Not to mention they'd need enough food to feed the new crew members, the pets being brought on. So much to do so little time. But first there was the matter of the Ocean's Revenge. Her crew had been talking to them but pirates got into battles with each other all the time unless a truce had been agreed to. Any fight they went into Talia wanted her crew fighting at their top game. Sort of hard to fight a friend. Still she wanted Bane's opinion.
Talia stopped outside the tavern, Clint rubbing his head affectionately on her cheek for a moment before returning to the ever alert watcher, "Bane. Is it worth while for a pirate ship to take on an ally?"
Bane was caught off guard for a moment at the question. "Generally no, pirates are known for backstabbing each other. However given the what's out in the sea and what I think you're speaking of I'd say there's an exception to every rule. We're enemies with the British now, at best the Spanish will like us a bit for annoying the British navy. But then there's the other pirates out there. Edward Teach or Blackbeard as he goes by will destroy anyone. His flag alone means that he won't give any quarter. Then there's Henry Avery of Long Ben, one of the richest pirates with a fleet. Not to mention Black Bart who takes ships without mercy. Calico Jack, the first pirate who had women on his ship. Then there's Stede Bonnet, one of Blackbeard's friends. Or god help us if we cross paths with Edward Low. Fact is given how unfriendly the sea is to us, allies we could use."
"I see," Talia nodded for a moment then looked at the tavern door. She took a deep breath and barged in loudly to get the attention of anyone inside, "I call anyone from the ship, The Ocean's Revenge to sit and have a drink with me and those of my crew who come."
Bane followed Talia and gave her a quick looking wondering if he should go find the rest of the crew but Talia didn't want to send Bane out alone.
Leon - The Ocean's Revenge (Acting First Mate) - 18
Leon raised an eyebrow when Talia barged into the tavern. He looked from her, to her hawk, to the boy and his dog that followed her. He wasn't sure if he was ready to play his hand yet, to join this stranger for a drink.
