She laughed a bit. "Yeah. I suppose you could say that." She said. "My name is Philomina McFarland. What's your name?" She asked politely. She could tell she had confused the other girl, but she didn't mind. Her black rabbit ears poked through her black and white hair. She had gotten used to that though and didn't even try to fix it.

I smiled a bit, she wasn't like most who laughed at what I looked like. She actually was likw me."I'm Akemi Kokoro" I said quietly, "nice to meet you Philomia." I smiled my trade mark fox smile.

"Nice to meet you!" She said happily. She liked this girl already, she seemed nice. It was also nice to know another shifter. Most people couldn't quite accept that she could shape shift into certain animals, and not into anything. Others weren't happy that she was a shapeshifter at all. Even more were displeased that she was a witch who had been raised in a clan, and that her mother had never chosen to teach her about playing nice with others. She had always learned to be like the raven, and metaphorically speaking, sing even if she couldn't. She shook her head, she was overthinking again. "Are you new here?"she asked.

I nodded, "hai I like it. As in how big the outside is, but I don't hangout with anyone since they don't really like shifters." I sighed, I like this girl she was another shifter. She may be a different species of shifters, but she was one like me. "Do all hate us shifters?" I asked, growling a bit. I never really liked anything that didn't like me, it angered me.

She sighed. "I honestly don't know. I'm not sure if people don't like me because I'm a witch, or if it's my personality, or if it's because I'm a shifter." She said. "But I haven't found anyone who really liked me so far. I think I just ruined my chances back there." She said gesturing towards the school. The roof was blown off and there were portals open.

I tilted my head and lowered my ears a bit, "i'm not sure what happened but I like you. Even if your part witch, I haven't seen another shifter that was nice like you. In ages,I said smiling. "Plus if you need help with anything I'm here, I can also shift into something you look like and trick someone if your being chased. I'm not a tricky kitsune for no reason," I said smirking.

Philomina smiled. "Thank you. You seem really nice too!" She said. "And besides my family, I've never met another shifter. That's really cool that you can do that!" She said excitedly.

I smiled "arigatou, and you being part witch does it give you a limit to what you can change into to?" I asked, "don't have to say. Just wondering," I said fascinated with her being two different things..
