Eden smiled at her and shook her head. "Thanks, but no one can understand. I'm different than everyone else. Plus, I'm a scientist. No one can ever understand why I do what I do."

"I kind of understand why you do what you do but I don't know very well..."She said looking at her.

Eden sighed and nodded. "See. I can't really explain why I do what I do. I know why, but I'm not sure how to put it into words. I want to help you guys, I want to know about you, I want to understand myself, but mostly, I want to make friends who will accept me for who I truly am."

"Well a lot of us are and I was letting your appearance and what you do, block how I acted toward you...and I'm sorry for that."

Eden nodded and sighed. "It's not your fault. As much as I wanted to be accepted by you guys, I never wanted to let any of you know my secret. As a result, I must admit I was mean as well and, for that, I am truly sorry."

"It's okay. We all have our bad times and moments."She said softly with a soft smile as she looked at her.

Eden smiled at her and nodded. "You really do understand. I'm glad to have someone like you to talk to."

Amber smiled as well."I'm glad I'm making a friend."She said softly.

Eden frowned as she heard the word friend and shook her head. "I told you. I can't be your friend. I was talking to you because I was upset, but that's it."
