He silently grinned.It' hard not to be negative in a place like this. When needles, freaks, and cages are all you've ever known, I mean, he scrawled onto the thin paper.

It took a minute for what Jasper said to registh? Oh, they just had me test my powers. But they couldn't get me angry enough to go full godzilla..." He said calmly.

"Ya me to....I hate doing it though" Jasper said.

"Climb back down front wards" the scientist told Mia.

Mia hesitated but began to come down forward a little slower watching her step her ear moveing aroung listening to her surroundings makeing sure nothing was gonna get throw at her on the way down

Shoshone's expression softened when a question passed over her, "How long have you been here?" She asked curiously. She had only been brought in a little over a year ago. A few mistakes and sore relations led her to be grabbed off the street like a stray dog. Her memories of the outside world were fresh which made being stuck there, in that terrible lab, a whole lot worse.

No Name moved away from where he was sitting so Shoshone could get a glimpse of a series of marks scratched into the floor. That long.

Shoshone leaned against the side of her cage to get a good look at the scratches. She attempted to count them all but easily lost track as the lines seemed to blur together after staring at them for too long, "That's a long time." She managed to say. All of the days had blurred together and it was hard for her to tell when one stopped and the next began, "How long is that exactly?"

He shrugged and wrote, I've lost count of the years. He took his claw and scratched in one more day, one more day wasted in this horrid place.

[Alcyone]

"I'm sorry." Shoshone frowned, still leaning against the side of her cage, "I've only been here a year or so. I can only tell so much from the glimpses I've got of the scientists' calenders." She ran her hand along the bar mindlessly, feeling over the small grooves that had been dug into it from her claws and teeth with previous fits of rage.

No Name flicked his eyes towards a sound, but didn't need to. It was just one of the scientists bringing the daily rations of food and water. After the scientist left, he used the alphabet chart to tell Shoshone, Use the water to rust your collar. Someday you might be able to break it.

Shoshone looked at the water with a dumbfounded look. It was so simple. Such a simple idea and it had never passed her mind, "You are a genius!" She declared. She took the water and poured some into her hand then rubbed it into the collar around her neck. The cool liquid for sure felt good on the burns under the collar. She took one small drink of water then used the rest to wear down the collar.

He rubbed the water all over an already weakened spot on his collar, using the rest to try to rust the lock on his cage. I wouldn't say I was a genius, he wrote, but definitely smarter than your average bear.
