Abigail smiled and then finished off her stew. She stood up stretching. "It is late. I think I will retired for the night. Nice to meet you Jay." She gave a nodded and began to walk off. She gave a sharp whistle and Meg quickly fallowed. Abigail got back to her room and quickly went to lay down. Her body exhausted from the long travel.
Luka slowly opened his eyes as light snuck in through the curtains that were drawn over the giant glass windows. He grumbled and turned onto his side smashing a pillow into his face. He hated mornings and most of all hated getting up. He was still like a child when it came to this. When he was 16 his nursemaid Betty would have to come in and drag him out of bed. He laid in bed and laughed into his pillow at the thought of the small woman with brown graying hair coming in pulling off his blankets and grabbing him by the feet pulling him off the bed. By the time he hit the floor he was trying to get up. It always shocked him how the small women had enough strength to do all of that. With a deep sigh Luka sat up and rubbed his icy blue eyes. At that moment the maid came rushing in to draw back the curtains. "The mail my lord." She said afterwards. She walked over to the bed and Luka saw the little envelopes she held. Luka held his hand out to take them. Quickly, he looked through them and decided there was nothing important to read at the moment. Luka pulled himself out of bed and made his way over to a mirror that hung on the wall near a wardrobe. Luka still wore the clothes from the night before. He changed into black leather trousers and boots and then slipped on a deep red velvet tunic. His outfit made him stick out among the peasants. He slipped golden rings on his fingers. The most noticeable of all the rings was a dark red stone set on a golden band that he wore on his right hand. He ran his fingers through his short curly blond hair smoothing out any part of it that was ruffled by his sleep. He placed a belt around his hips that was decorated with golden studs. From the belt hung a sword sheath, hidden in the sheath was a sword. The hilt of the sword was golden and jeweled with dark red gems matching his ring. His family crest sat in the middle of the hilt. He was ready for the day.
