Alana found a nice bench by a window and sat down to go over her schedule. Out of habit she played with a little flame on her fingertips behind the paper where no one could see. She felt such a weight on her shoulders having to hide her powers when they could be so useful and enjoyable if she could express them. I hate being the new student again... she thought.
