I sighed and snapped and shifted to my other form my cat ears down as the hat fell on my head and I opened the cage door.

Fang crawled out of the cage and stretched, stifling a yawn. "Ugh... I don't even know where they put my groceries..." She frowned a bit while looking around.

"That's going to be a bit harder to track." I said frowning as my eyes went demon and I looked around for them.

I went into an office and found them I started to walk to them.

Fang spotted Lamena come back with the groceries and smiled. "Hey! You found 'em! Now, let's get out of here before we're caught again."

I held on to my backpack tightly then sat on the ground, "I'm going to eat something, I'm starving," I said quietly I looked at her and had an inviting smile on my face.

Rendan whimpered, afraid to go near him or say anything in case she did something wrong.

I nodded and smiled, standing and going to the door that lead inside, I turned and waved with another smile before heading inside. I breathed out a little as I felt my wings move in response. As if they knew I was alone and could stretch them out. I watched the door for a minute, wondering if he would come inside too. I didn't stay long though, I headed to my new room, I moved so my body was out of sight of the door but my wings were not. I stretched them to their near-complete wingspan, it felt great! It was like stretching after a good night's sleep and feeling refreshed. My large, ebony wings shadowed over the open doorway to my room, nearly blocking out any light from my window.
