(I'm going to push jinx into this now, so I can get the ball rolling with my characters.)

Jinx watched the little chess match go on between Victor and the new prince. Who knew where Mako was at the moment, but because he wasn't here, she was the one who had to sit here and advise the king on his next chess move. Oh the joy. She checked her nails, painted a nice bright white. In fact, everything she wore was white- she practically glowed in the darkness of the room. This was because she was an angel, pure and through. And because she was so, she was a disgrace to her family.

(Okay, here's Mako and Niju.)

Niju waited on Victor to make his move saying, "Play passes to you." He watched the man with keen eyes.

As he spoke, what appeared to be a swirling dark cloud of black energy seeped through the door and into the room. It hovered above the floor a few feet and glided over to the throne where Victor sat then solidified as Mako. "Did I miss anything?" He asked nonchalantly.
