Fight or Flight

I shut off the pain, using my power to block my emotions. I lock on her to her mind and concentrate. I jump up as I look at her. She was going to pay.
"Why don't you just leave?" I hint, making her think that she wants to leave.

Jizzara narrows her eyes as she feels Kennedy tap into her mind. For a moment her eyes flash as an idea sparks into her mind. "Alright, I'll leave." Jizzara says with a smirk as she turns and flies off behind the trees and into the forest. When she is far enough away she puts her plan into action. "Duplication." She says. She closes her eyes and feels a piece of her soul splitting. When she opens her eyes an exact duplicate of herself floats in front of her.

Jizzara flies back to the clearing where Zephyr and Kennedy were. "Ha! You think that little mind game is gonna work on me? It didn't take much to break it." Jizzara says with a smirk.

Zephyr was startled when Jizzara transferred the wound he'd given her to Kennedy and she fell to the ground. He stopped, waiting until Jizzara was gone to go to his sister.
"See what happens when you run your mouth?" he hissed quietly, "Are you alright?"
He stopped and turned when Jizzara came back. He frowned. Something was off, but he couldn't quite pin point what.

"I'm fine, uggh if I didn't love Hunter so much she'd be dead." I hiss as I see her leave. She comes back though and I'm shocked.
"What the he!! is going on?!" I hiss as I look at Z.

"Why don't you take a guess? Get it right and I'll take the wound back." Jizzara says with a smirk knowing she had very little chance of guessing correctly. Even if she did I wouldn't keep my promise. Why would I take back a wound like that? She's so easy to manipulate. Hasn't she ever heard the saying, 'The one that anger you, control you.'?

I'm about to say something but then I stop. She hurts me and that's whatever. But she might hurt Z. And I won't let that happen, I protect my family before I protect anyone else. "You know, I never thought I'd see the day were I'd meet a bigger
b!t&h than myself, looks like I was wrong." I say between my teeth. Well whaddya know? looks like I can't shut up even when I want to. The pain isn't as bad as it was, especially since I closed off most of my emotion. Being near Z leaves emotion close though.

"You just don't know when to stop do you? You're lucky I'm in a good mood today. I could have already had you blind, writhing in pain, and gasping for breath that won't come by now. But it's so much more entertaining to watch your confusion." Jizzara says.

"Excuse me but do you know who you're talking to? I was without emotion for decades. I can turn off my pain and my suffering. Don't you just love vampire traits? You have no idea who you're dealing with. If I could I would rip off your petty wings and shove them down your throat. But I can't, you're lucky I can't. Or I would end you." I say. Well, that was an idiotic move on my part. Shame I don't care. I should get out of here though, before this psycho fairy tries to hurt me more.

"On the contrary. You don't know who you're dealing with. Just because you can't feel pain, doesn't mean you can still breathe when you lose control of your respiratory muscles. It doesn't mean you can see when your pupils contract. So in conclusion, it doesn't matter whether you feel pain or not, I can still affect your body's performance...no pain needed." Jizzara says darkly as she inches closer with each statement, death hidden in her eyes. "Don't you just love fairy traits?" She says, mocking Kennedy.

"Alright, that's enough!" Zephyr shouted as the argument between Jizzara and Kennedy began to get more heated. He stepped between then and glared at them both.
"You two need to calm down," he hissed, "I know I can't really give a lecture on not ripping someone's throat out, but I don't think this is the time for this. This is pointless!"
