Fight or Flight

Jizzara had to choke back an 'Awww'. She knew it would ruin this moment...the moment both of them had been waiting for for so long. Even though neither of them would admit it she saw through it. Deep down, under all of that hatred and betrayal, they really loved each other like siblings should. Jizzara never had siblings to share that connection with, but she was happy for them, that they had found it again.

I smile as I hug him back, rolling my eyes at the dripping sarcasm in his voice.
"You love me! You really love me!" I say smiling. I kiss him on the cheek and continue hugging him. Feeling for the first time, that I was home.

"Geez, Kennedy, calm down," Zephyr said, taking a step back, "I can always hate you more, but I'll never love you less."

"I had no emotions until I heard your voice, give me a second to get used to it." I say looking at him. One thing that will never change. How my brother and I react towards each other.
" I've heard it said, love always conquers hate. Nice to know I'm not alone." I say.

"It's true you know." Jizzara said before she stop herself. Her hands fly up to her mouth, wishing she hadn't just said that. I am so dead. But, maybe since they're in a good mood...?

"Who was that? Are you with someone Z?" I ask looking at him. What am I thinking of course he is! That is, after all, the reason I heard his voice. "Was I interrupting something?" I ask.

Zephyr turned and looked at Jizzara when she spoke.
"Oh great, you saw that whole thing didn't you?" he said, "Geez, no privacy these days." He glanced at Kennedy nervously before looking back at Jizzara, "So do you feel like leaving me alone now? Trust me, it's for your own good."
He looked back at Kennedy,
"No, not at all," he said, "Nothing I wanted to continue."

"I can't hurt her. It's part of this bizarre deal I made, So by all means continue if you would like." I say looking at her. I hate her so much. I don't care if she didn't kill him for she is one of them. Why did I make that deal? She'd be so dead if I could get my hands on her.

"No, I went blind for the past 5 minutes. Of course I saw the whole thing." Jizzara replies sarcastically. "Geez, what the heck is up with you vampires?" She mumbles. "And no, I am not leaving." Jizzara says hovering a little lower now. "And you," Jizzara says gesturing to Kennedy. "I can tell that you hate me, and I'm perfectly fine with that. I'm totally used to others judging me by the fact that I have wings and automatically assuming that I'm like every other fairy on this planet." She says sarcastically.

"You're one to talk," Zephyr said, "Vampires get as much crap from fairies. Look, I'm not going to sit here and argue with you. You need to scram. I don't care what kind of stupid deal you've made with Kennedy."
