Jirachi rolled his eyes and jumped, shifting into an eagle and following.

"You see anything yet?" October asked Jirachi, scanning the ground. "So far, anyone could just walk out of here."

"I see nothing but a glow in the distance," Jirachi replied, pointing to the horizon.

"Then let's go check that out." October replied, speeding up a bit.

Jirachi nodded and glided after him.

October whistled, finding the source of the glow. "A lava river. Simple, yet effective..." He muttered.

Jirachi looked to each end of the huge river, frowning when they both disappeared into the horizon, "DO you think it's too hot to fly over?" he asked.

"If we get high enough we might be fine, but I don't like the look of those." October pointed skyward to some black shapes circling ahead.

Jirachi looked up, frowning, "Neither do I," he murmured, "What are they?"

"I can't tell from here and don't fancy checking it out." October replied. "They're probably deadly."
