Tori shrugged. "Well, define happy. I never really let it get me down, that was the thing."

"Treasure your good memories." was all he said. "So, do you want some tea or food or what?" He paled. "Did Oliver just go into my kitchen, by any chance?"

"Yeah, he's been in there for a while, why?" Tori replied, looking a bit confused.

"He's told me multiple times that he would likely destroy the kitchen if he tried to cook. Is it really that bad? He won't let me teach him."

"I've never really seen him cook, but I've heard several horror stories." Tori replied calmly. "And he's probably fine, don't worry about it."

"I'm sorry for rambling. I just don't know how to handle mysef around strangers, so I just act however I feel," he said with an awkward chuckle, rubbing the tattoo again. It was hurting more than usual.
