I sigh as I enter my new dorm room, number 218. I push open the door and find the beds neatly made, but worn, except for one. Must be mine. It was a top bunk near the back of the room. I climb the ladder and plop my bags down next to me on the bed. I place my stuffed monkey next to my pillow and make it sit down nicely. My grandmother gave it to me when I turned five, the day I became a shapeshifter, or at least, the day we found out. I place my other possesions on the shelves near my head. Then lie down to get a feel for the new room.
