'Well, everyone's welcome.' Amanda said. She picked up the ball, tossing it in the air and catching it. She dripped it in Jay's hand. 'Here, keep this.' She said. 'It might help.'

"Thanks." I say smiling. I turn and start heading down the long hallway towards my dorm… for some reason the hall seemed shorter when Xavier was carrying me… Maybe he walks faster. I shrug and reach my room. Lilly is talking to the new girl, I overhear her name, Sev. Nice. "Hi there." I say walking over, "I'm Jay.'

Xavier stayed as he watched Jay go, glad she figured out how to shift back. Looking back at the teacher he shook his head. "No, I'm not a shifter, I'm just here to help and protect and such." He answered, smiling. "Well I guess I'm lucky, 'cause I already helped someone on my first day." Holding out his hand for her to shake it, he said. "I almost forgot, my name's Xavier, so you can call for me if you need any help. If you want that is." He added quickly.

'I'm Miss Nyson, or Amanda out of lessons.' She said, shaking his hand. 'Kind offer, but I won't need help. If you ever need anything, just come and find me.' She said. 'And shapeshifter or not, your welcome to the lessons. It might be good for you to meet everyone else, and learn some more about shifting if you are going to live here.'

Xavier nodded. "It's great to meet you Miss Nyson." Then he added, "I will come if I need help, and good idea, I'll attend the classes, to study." He acknowledged her suggestion and let go of her hand, heading to the door. "Bye, and thanks for your help." He did a small little wave and a smile and headed out the door, to his dorm, of which he had to pass through the girl's dorms as well, again. Hands tucked tightly in his pockets, he turned and walked down the hallway where the girls' dorms were, passing Jay and the others, waving as he went pass them.

Lilly waved as Xavier walked past, before turning back to the other two girls on her dorm.
Erik turned away from the window when he heard footsteps in the hall. He leant against the wall by the window, waiting to see who'd come in. He guessed it would be however was using that other bed. If that was the case then that meant they'd be roommates, so he decided to be polite and sociable. And if he changed his mind his gecko form would probably fit under the door...
