Emma went to the cove and dove in. She wondered where Zero was. She hadn't seen him since the day he scared her

Nero propped up the merman against his bed and went to get a cloth.

Emma sighed and swam in the ocean, looking for Zero. She wanted to say she was sorry

Nero came back to see that the merman was awake, "Oh. Hello." he said kindly and started to wipe off sand. "I hope you won't be too scared off me. I'm one of you... And... I want to help you."

The merman had been staring at him with scared eyes, but as Nero talked, he figured that he wasnt going to hurt him.

"I'm Nero. Wha-" Nero didn't finish before he head a car pull up, "Crap... I need you to hide in my closet. I cannot let my parents know your here."

The merman nodded and, with help, quickly went to the closet.

Emma sighed and continued to swim, wanting to be with Zero again. She missed him a ton

Tara swam up to Emma, "Are... You alright?"

"No." Emma said, "I haven't seen Zero in a long time, but I'm still scared, and yet, I feel horrible for what I did."

"Oh. You must be Emma. Zero talks very fondly of you." Tara said and smiled.
