Hallick spun behind the manticore and grabbed it's tail before swinging it with all his might into a tree. He stood up straight after swinging the beast, and took a breath. "What's next a chimera?"

Dakota heard the noises and flew into a tree watching what was playing out.

The manticore stood up and jumped out at Hallick. He responded by whipping out his pocket knife and moving out the manticore's charging movement. He then waited for the manticore's next move.

Dakota looked at them his eyes intense. If he lost he would use his other power the one he kept locked away.

Kait watched quietly. Her white feathers now red. The spikes were deep in her wings. she could feel some blood seep down her back. She closed her eyes for a second and took a deep breath then opened them watching the manticore carefuly. wanting to help Hallick

The manticore leaped again and Hallick shoved the knife into It's neck, and sliced it open, killing it instantly.The manticore body lay there still and Hallick went over to Kait to help her out.

Dakota flew down from his hiding spot with a stick and jabbed its eye ball. "Dead as a door nail."
