James had just entered the hall when someone shouted towards him. He quickly turned around thinking he just got caught. When he saw it wasn't Mirauge he relaxed a little bit but not much. "Be quiet!" James hissed in a whisper. He waited until the boy was next to him before he continued. "People are trying to sleep. Do you want to wake everybody up?" James noticed the boy's wet clothes and assumed that he just arrived. "Oh, um... Things here are a little weird. You just kind of pick a room and it will have everything you need. There are clothes in the drawers too if you want to change. I was just going to grab a snack from the kitchen." James turned to continue on his way.

Lucien and Damien exchanged a look knowing in their gut there was something off about his words. He shrugged his shoulders apologetically, not really knowing there was anyone else here trying to sleep. Worried there might be something wrong, Damien suggested in a whisper, "Well, I could use a feast right about now. Lucien and I were just running from hunters ad we're famished. Think we could go along, buddy?" He flashed the fellow bonder a big, honest smile as Lucien looked up at the little black bird curiously and wagged his tail.

James looked the boy over. He was debating on whether to let him come or not. "'Sure. You can come, but you have to be quiet." James decided that refusing would make him suspicious. James started to walk towards the kitchen again, his backpack slung over his shoulder. Corin gave the wolf a questionable look before following James. Come on James, don't do this. You know it's not a good idea. The bird said into his mind as it flew next to him. James replied to this by shooing the bird away with his hand. The little bird slowed down but still followed after him.

Damien's sharp blue eyes were wide as he nodded his head. Lucien fell into pace beside him as they followed the guy. He decided to strike up a conversation to be friendly, "I'm, Damien, by the way." He eyed the backpack curiously with a raised eyebrow. He wasn't so good at concealing his emotions, mostly because he never had to, and besides, that's how he and Lucien communicate all the time. Damien wondered if he should have just changed and left this guy alone, but the backpack was suspicious and... Maybe he just cares a little too much about people.

James continued to walk with out paying much mind to Corin or Damien. "I'm James." He said with out looking over his shoulder. Usually James would be more social than this, but he was really tense and nervous at the moment. He readjusted his glassed as the reached the kitchen door. James pushed it open and didn't bother to wait for Damien. Once they were inside James looked around. it was the same as before. Aromas from various foods could be smelled. It quickly reminded him how much he didn't like magic. James glanced over his shoulder at Damien. "Uh, there's a service panel over there where you can order anything you want." he said as he pointed to where it was. With that James went to work. He set his backpack on the counter and started to get stuff to make sandwiches. Once he got everything he started to make them. James didn't know how many he would need, but he figured five or six would do. He found some sandwich bags and started to put the sandwiches into his backpack.

» I tossed and turned in my bed and my eyes popped open. "Horizon?" I called her name, my voice hoarse, and a muffled snort came to answer. I let out a sigh of relief and rolled over onto my pillow. Just a nightmare... My mind whispered. I swallowed and my throat felt like sandpaper. Moaning, I got up and rubbed my eyes. I checked my clock and it read: 2:34. I let out a yawn and checked my room for any thing to drink. "Of course, that's what i would forget!" I muttered and put on my robe. "I'm gonna get something to drink.." I murmured to Horizon who just rolled over and let out a snore. I rolled my eyes and quietly opened my door, stepping out into the hallway.

I could hear two people arguing in hushed whispers up the hallway but I was too tired to care. I walked down the hallway a bit and I passed Alec's door. Something was wrong. I could hear a muffled scream from the other side. My heart started to race and a thousand possibilities of what could be happening raced through my mind. I jiggled the door nob and found it locked. "D*mn!" I muttered, worry rising in my chest. I looked around and saw no one. Praying that this would work, I backed up against the wall and kicked the door open. It flew open without too much noise and I rushed in. She was tossing in her bed and screaming. I ran over and took her hand. "It's alright...It's just a dream." I whispered, trying to calm her down.

Damien walks over the counter and eyes James carefully. He coughed lightly. "So uh... What, it's like magic? That's freaky, dude." He scratched the back of his head with his eyebrows raised. He might as well try it. "Ahh.. I'd like a... T-bone steak...please..." It popped out infront of him and he forgot about James acting funny. He was going to take a hunk out of it when Lucien sneaked in under his arm and took it. "Ah! You little scalawag!" He dove for the meat but missed as Lucien ran away with it. Damien laid there with a "I'm not amused" look and sighed. "He'll be back.. When he's done with it. Haha." He chuckled and jumped up, dusting himself off. He then looked over to James and saw him packing food in his backpack. OH. Yes, now everything made sense. It reminds him of when he ran away from the orphanage. But... Why would he wanna run away from here? Was there even a way out? "Hey, James.. That looks like, uh... Like you're leavin. But, ah..." He decided not to ask why, that may be too intrusive. "Do you know the way out?"

James shoved the last of his sandwiches into his backpack and zipped it up. "No." he answered flatly. "But if there's a way in there has to be a way out. Look this place is nice. I think you'll like it here. It's just... to far out of my comfort zone, so don't let my decisions influence yours." James slung his backpack over his shoulder. He looked around the kitchen, wondering where to go from here. James had no idea where to even remotely look for an exit. They fell into an underground lake and got transported to the safe house. It was safe to assume that finding an exit would not be easy. James sighed and started to head towards the hallway. That's a good of spot to start as any.

Damien ordered a steak and took a bite quickly. "We'll, I at least wanna know where the outside is!" He smiled and walked quickly after him. Lucien would be able to track Damien's smell, and besides, he had more steak. "Ah, aren't black birds supposed to be wise?" He asked, feeling like maybe he remembered it from a book somewhere. Damien eyes the bird curiously, much like his wolf had done.
