» I let out a small laugh and turned my head back tot he movie. I could sense Horizon seething on the couch next to us, Oh, calm down! I snapped, She growled in my mind and said nothing. You're just jealous. I thought smugly. She growled again. I rolled my eyes and turned back to Alec, smiling once more.

Lexus constantly checked his pocketwatch for the next few moments, studying the woman's face that delicately framed the inside of the ticking contraption. He was curious as to who she was- maybe a sister? Relative? No, they didn't look the least bit alike. Past lover? Perhaps. It wasn't like him to meddle with the thought of love, for it seemed childish. Besides, not every love story had a very happy ending.

Finally, after a moment of musing, he closed the watch with a huff. "Claudius, you don't suppose that she was somebody important, do you?" He inquired as his glacial depths gazed at the ebony crow. That girlie's face doesn't ring a bell. Perhaps she's just another of them aristocrats you kiss up to. The crow snorted, dodging Lexus' attempt to cuff him like the usual. Lexus didn't want to dwell on the subject any longer.

An instrument caught his attention. It was a marvelous cello with a smooth surface and delicate strings. The young man had learned to play the instrument during his short time in Austria. With a swift motion, he sat next to the string instrument and slid the bow over the strings, producing a tenor sound. Satisfied that he still remembered, he began to play complex melodies, often long and drawn out to add emphasis. Suddenly, his mind drifted to thoughts of his past. The lovers and dancing- no. He didn't have time for such nonsense. Gently he placed the bow to the side, his facial expression one of scorn and disappointment.

.: P e r s o n a l i t y :. He tries to make decisions based on what is good for everyone. He's somewhat of a leader. He can be sarcastic and uses humor sometimes. There's an edge about him, that's a little unpredictable. He is cautious when meeting people at first, and doesn't give out trust easily. But once you have it, he is undyingly loyal to you. He can sometimes sense/'taste' emotion or danger in the air. He can also be very mysterious, and though he may seem open, he still has his secrets.

.: H i s t o r y :. He lived with his parents comfortably until he was about 8, then got stuck in an orphanage. He wouldn't stay around the building, being restless in his heart he felt something deeper calling him, something that would help him feel whole again. And one day, they met. He and his bonded one. So he ran away from the orphanage at 17 an resorted to living on his own, thieving and living off the land like a wold to survive.

.: F a m i l y :. His mother was Lucielle Grey, and his father was Bartemous Grey. Other than that, he regards his wolf pup to be like his little brother.

Alec didn't seem to notice the two's mental bickering as the movie rolled on, her mind sinking into the point-of-view of Forest Gump- the protagonist of the movie- as he ran through the Vietnamis jungles, shooting blindly into the thick foliage. She was literally on the edge of her seat, bouncing on the balls of her feet as the fighting became grittier, "Run, Forest!" The girl exclaimed at the same time a character in the movie had.

» I laughed as Alec became super animated along side of the movie. I had to admit, it was pretty intense. Oh how i love a good movie! I thought, my smile widening, Especially with such a special girl... I looked over at Alec, who was preoccupied with the movie and my heart started to pump faster again. You quite it! I told it. To make it worse, my stomach started to join in and it make some weird flip flop motions. I blushed and turned my attention back to the movie, although i couldn't really concentrate.. Is this really what ...love feels like? I thought almost dreamily, Watching funny movies and laughing together?... I could get used to this...

Alec allowed herself a small chuckled as she fell back against the cushions of the couch that she and Gabriel occupied. Feeling his arm around her shoulders brought him back to her attention, and she stole a quick glance over at the boy before scotching closer. I'm screwed, She thought as she couldn't seem to help herself from getting closer to Gabriel, I might as well go to H*ll now for all of my sins. Alec cracked a smile at the thought, wondering what they would make of the likes of her down there.

» After a while of small snuggling and lots of laughter, the movie came to an end. "That was a memorable time.." I murmured, smiling at Alec. "I really had a lot of fun.." I continued, standing up. I offered my hand to help Alec up and my heart started to beat again... I bit my lip and looked into her eyes, suddenly becoming serious. She had a way of making me feel...Important.

I stepped into my humble abode and closed my eyes, breathing in deeply. Different fragrant scents swirled in my head and my eye lids fluttered. I quickly snapped my eyes open again and closed my door behind me, making sure the lock was secure. With eight long strides I reached the bathroom and I entered, shutting that door behind me as well. I stripped my clothing off and turned the shower onto it's hottest setting. You want a steam bath? I asked my animal, flashing him a smile. Heck yeah! But you get to be under the burning hot water which is the best part, I caught a glimpse of his pink tongue flick out of his mouth. As I stepped into the shower I couldn't help but wonder where everyone else I had helped today was at this point in time. Exploring the house? Sleeping? Also taking this...luxurious hot shower..? I let out a long sigh as the hot water ran over my tired body. I closed my eyes and ran my fingers through my hair, jut standing in the steady flow for a good five minutes. Finally I soaped my body and hair and did the necessaries to become clean once more before reluctantly stepping out. I grabbed a fluffy white towel and wrapped it around myself as I stepped out of the bathroom.

"Hmm I have no where to be tonight and I am completely dead tired," I decided as I walked over to my closet. I pulled out a silky dark grey tank top and black shorts to sleep in. I went around and blew out most of the candles lit to keep the room light but kept some still burning slowly, mostly for the scent. I crawled underneath my sheets and laid on my back, my golden-blue eyes staring at the ceiling. My mind wandered across the past events of the day and, no matter how hard I tried to keep them away, eventually came to flutter onto the very subject of Lexus.

Lexus...I whispered in my mind, closing my eyes and picturing the ebony haired man. His icy blue eyes seeming to stare back at me even though it was only an imagination. What is so intriguing about this man that I can't get my mind off of? I thought angrily to myself, refusing to believe the obvious. Maybe sleep will do you well..and clear your mind.. My dragon said from across the room as politely as he could without grinding his teeth. Even though he couldn't see me I nodded and curled into a tight ball, closing my eyes. As I drifted off to sleep some-how I knew, no matter how hard I tried not to, I would still be thinking of those eyes come morning.

Even with apologies exchanged James could still feel the awkwardness in air. He rubbed the back of his neck and adjusted his glasses. These were both habits of his whenever he was nervous. James was stupid to think that everything would just go back to normal with an exchange of words. They both knew that they had conflicted beliefs. They could try to ignore it all they want, but it wouldn't change anything. James still avoided magic, while Dominique embraced it. The question was where do they go from there. James looked at his watch for a distraction. "So... Um, It's getting pretty late. Maybe we should think about going to bed. I'm sure we both could use the rest." Because that will help this situation.Corin scoffed. James was starting to get annoyed with his bonded animal. Corin was always one to state his opinion, but these out burst were getting out of hand.

Alec flashed him a wonderful smile, taking his hand and allowing him to pull her up to her feet, "Completely," she said, agreeing to him. She started towards the exit, letting her finger tips linger on the back of his hand as they walked. Once the two of them started back towards their rooms, Alec felt a wave of exhaustion come over her, "Hey, meet me tomorrow for breakfast, 7:30 sharp?" The girl asked, giving Gabriel a half smile as they came to her door. She leaned against it, a hand on his shoulder as she looked into his eyes.
