[i guess if my character is gonna be the opposing prince - i should give him a grand introduction to the rp/story ...]
In the warm waters of the far ocean, a distant clash of clicks and clangs echoed the water. Embedded in a large rock, covered by kelp, coral, and barnacles, there was a castle formed out of sand and stone. In the castle's front grounds, there was two figures that could be seen, and once getting a closer look it appeared the two were fighting with a large blade of sorts. "You've gotten better, but can you dodge this?" the larger figure of the two asked. "But of course ... i learned from you, now didn't i?" the smaller one asked, soon swimming quickly under the attack and going for a lunge, only to be blocked and forced back into his original spot. Both wore a mask made of a large shell, and each held a swordfish blade. The duelists circled each other ... watching their opponents every move ... until the smaller darted forward with a quick kick of his tail and landed a hit to the other on the chest. The larger one stumbled back and pointed his blade to the younger one. "Your lucky to have that speed, boy" the older scoffed, and the smaller one only chuckled. "Perhaps your just too old ..." the smaller one teased, making the teacher lurch forward into an attack, but the smaller quickly dodged and tried to attack from the rear. Both of them fought for hours on end, until the timer - a crab who had volunteered - clicked it's claws in signal that the match was over. The smaller one had won. "Good job today ... it was quite the close battle, but you've learned well, and you bet your teacher ... Kaito." the larger one said, pride clearly in his voice toward the younger. The boy removed his helmet, and held it at his side, "You put up a good fight Mr. Morito, the next time we fight will only be even greater." Kaito said humbly. The teacher smirked and removed his helmet, patting the boy's head. "That's enough of lessons for today .. you go rest up." Mr. Morito replied. The boy seemed rather disappointed, but nodded and swam up to the castles large doors, having them opened for him by 2 guards who had been standing there. "thank you." he said quickly to the two guards, soon swimming into the castle and up toward his room, to which he then closed his door and rested on his large bed. As the boy lay there with his hands behind his head, he stared up to the ceiling. This boy was Kaito Uni, the Prince of one of the known ocean family's, and heir to the throne ... He enjoyed sparring with his teacher, and tinkering with thing to make new inventions and contraptions to keep him busy, and unlike most merfolk, he was not so much part fish ... as he was part shark. This boy had a great many talents, including ones that were just simple parlor tricks, but in all honesty he did not want to live this expensive life ... he had just wanted to be well off, and explore the ocean wide. He wanted to see what these tales of 'humans' were, and the place they lived called 'land'. He was very curious, and often got into trouble for it, which is why he was kept here in the castle, un-allowed to venture forth and see even the kingdom he was to one day rule. Oh how he longed for adventure ... to see what was outside these dull castle walls.
[is this good?]
