"I'm always secluded because of it." Salacia said quietly, grimacing slightly. "Whenever we go into port, or anything like that, people automatically mistrust me and think I'm some sort of freak. And that's before they even find out that I'm not completely human. I remember, as a kid, whenever we'd stay in a town or settlement for a while, if I ever tried to join a game or play with some other kids around, they'd just stop and stare, like I was an oddity on display." She shook her head. "It's miserable."

"That's a good thing, you're not like everyone else.. You're your own person, you stand out from all the rest, you are a leader.. Not a follower, I'm only a leader because I followed my entire life, I am not unique in anyway besides my hook.. And that was after I had a ship and was captain." He said, voice hardening some.
