Tyler just gave a small smile at her. "No problem, princess." he replied. He noticed KC approaching them again and the knight stood up, giving a small bow towards the prince. "I will leave you two alone. I will have to go on patrol anyways." he told the two before picking up his helmet. The knight gave a small wave at the princess before he walked down the hallway.

The head knight headed towards the stables and into the box of his horse, Ren. He patted his buddy and saddled him, before taking him out of the stables and walking outside. He got on Ren and started with his patrol through the village, to see if there had any problems occured.

Arabella waved back at Tyler as KC came back and asked for her attention. She shrugged, uncaringly and entered the room he had gestured to. Once inside, she turned to him, her arms crossed in front of her chest. "Let me guess," she said her eyes appraising him critically. "You're here to berate me for poking fun at Tristan when he deserved it and getting a rise out of Serena so now she looks foolish."

The prince attempted a wounded look at her guess. "No I leave all the berating to your brothers." he scoffed. "But anyway, I wanted to talk to you about tonight. How you and Serena and Tristan or whoever had planned to ride back to Elyadon. I'm not sure if that's still the plan because Serena and I talked a bit and.. things have changed." He crossed his arms. "But if she does still want to go back to Elyadon, I'm afraid you won't be able to go. Nor Tristan. I will be escorting her, as I am her fiance and it is my rightful duty." He quickly added, "And we still need to speak about our wedding." The prince went back to the topic. "You two will just cause more arguments and you'll get her all riled up again. She's.. emotionally unstable at the moment. The safest thing for the three of you would be to get some time alone, perhaps." he hinted. "But your alone time will have to come after dinner. The court expects your presence, Princess Arabella."

Arabella's temper flared hotly and resisted the urge to lash out, not only with words, at her sister's fiance. She regarded him with cold, hard eyes, like she did whenever someone used that dreaded word; 'expects'. "Then the court will have to wait a little while longer. I would prefer to mourn my brother alone," she snapped. "I does the thought not even occur to you that I did not mean to upset Serena? Or were you just following what you'd heard servants say about wild princess Arabella? Stubborn Arabella? Mean, cruel, misbehaving, unladylike, violent Arabella."

Kaleb drew back with an injured expression. "Servants' rumors do not bother me. I take no heed to them. As most should not, I should say. And I understand that you would like time to mourn your brother, but for the sake of your appearance, you must be at dinner tonight. If you do not show up, does that not prove the supposed rumors all true? And even if you don't care, do it for Serena. She'd appreciate it very much. And your parents, who have gone through too much. For Aiden, Nick, and even Tristan."

"Ha, for the sake of my appearance," she laughed cruelly. "What do I care of my appearance? I do everything for Serena and Nick. Everything. I attend balls, and dance with pompous boys and smile and feast and be sociable and happy. All for them." She turned and face the only window in the room, suddenly wishing Tyler hadn't left; he would have made her feel better. "Tristan could care less what I feel so long as I look and act like a princess is expected to," she said, scrunching her nose. "So could my parents. They've lost a son, I've lost a brother. I haven't seen either of them shed one tear over it."

Kaleb frowned. "Your parents are strong. And they know that they must keep faith for the kingdom, for themselves. As for Tristan, he shows that he cares for the way of your upbringing. He wants no harm to come to you, and he believes that the only way to achieve that is for you to be safe. Which means to be the princess you are meant to be." He thought for a moment, a cocky smile slashing his frown. "How about we make a deal?"
