Because I'm not happy with what I have. And I have so very much. I have a roof over my head, and a family that loves me-well half a family that loves me. I've been educated and I can get nearly anything I could ever want just by asking for it. But sometimes, I want to know what it's like to have to work for the clothes on your back, or know the satisfaction of buying something with hard earned money."

Tyler thought for a moment, trying his hardest to think of a safe solution for her problems. He sat down next to her, placing his helmet on the ground. "Then why don't you just work as a maid for about a week? You could disguise yourself, and you're still at your castle. Your friend I met yesterday was also a maid, so why don't you just join her in her work for a while during the day? Then at night, after dinner, you are the princess you're supposed to be again." It was probably the safest solution. Tyler didn't want Arabella to run away into the forests in search for some adventure. He knew how dangerous they were, since he had to patrol into the forests yesterday because of the rebels and rogues.

"That's a good idea," she said sitting up a bit more. Then she slumped again. "Confound that brother of mine," she cursed. "Tristan nearly had a fit when I came last night wearing breeches, he'll have a fit at this. I know he will. And if he has too many fits, my parents will just marry me off to some old, unbearable lord and ship me off to God knows where." She sighed. "I wish that would work," she said.

[I'm not sure at the moment since we're busy adding another sideplot into the roleplay. It would probably be nice to have some more knights, but I suppose I am Confliction could tell you what kind of characters are really needed once she comes online c: ]

Tyler sighed as he remained silent for a moment. "I could try to talk to him, if you wish." he replied, turning his gaze to Arabella. "I can't promise anything, but I can always try." Tyler shrugged slightly before staring at his feet, a slight frown crossing his face. He knew Tristan had spent some of his time with travelling around Elyadon and staying at villagers, to see how they lived. If he chose his words right, he should be able to convince him about this, right? Tyler just wanted to prevent Arabella for getting herself into danger because she wanted to explore the outside world. Aiden was already lost, and none of the kingdoms could afford it to lose another heir.

"Oh, would you?" she exclaimed softly in excitement. "Thank you!" Before she realized what she was doing, she had wrapped her arms around him. Quickly, though she recoiled, realizing that she barely knew him. And there was Patch at home for her. He's my prince, she thought. "I-I'm sorry about that," she said quickly. "I don't know what came over me."

Seeing the princess preoccupied, Kaleb didn't stop when he had finally reached her. He continued on, merely pausing for a brief hello to the knight whom she was speaking with. The prince then slipped into a nearby room, waiting for the princess to be finished with her lamenting. After several minutes, the impatient prince had decided it was no use to stand idly by, and came out from the room he had been waiting in. He shuffled awkwardly on his feet, having just witnessed the princess hug the knight. He cleared his throat. "Excuse me, princess. May I speak with you?" His eyes shifted to the knight, and he added, "Privately, please." The prince motioned towards the room he had just come from.

(I still don't get this RP... So if the Princes and Princess are to marry, what do you do with the villagers and maids?)

{ as DeerInYourHeadlights previously stated, we are attempting to add in a sideplot, which may transition into the actual plot.. the villagers and maids will be the kindle for rumors and may occasionally be spies. this "sideplot" includes two opposing sides: the rebel rogues, and the protectors or others loyal to the throne. the villagers and maids can also choose sides, and can help contribute in their own ways towards either of theses two groups. the servants and townspeople can also develop relationships with characters from different castes. }

{ we currently have about seven active male characters and seven active female characters. some have gone dormant. five of the males are princes, one is a knight, and one is a thief/stablehand. of the seven active females, two are princesses, one is a nun, one is a gypsy, one is disguised as a knight, and two are maids. I'd say, we short in villagers. the nun and gypsy are currently the only villagers so far. your character can be a rebel rogue (who is against anyone loyal to the throne), a BOP (the Band of Protectors - they protect the royal heirs and fight against the rebels), or any villager who is either for, against, or undecided towards the two sides. the gender is all up to you, of course. }
