Maria felt him start to wrap her back and let out a shaky breath as he did. She didn't speak, but the girl knew he was going to at least try to save her.

Troy worked silently and carefully, he wrapped her wound three times to be sure she wouldn't bleed out, he moved in front of her and held her cheeks "Maria, look at me, you will be ok, I'm not going to let you die, not now or ever"

Maria didn't open her eyes. The only sign that she wasn't dead was the slow rise and fall of the girl's chest.

Troy leaned his head on hers lightly "come on Maria, stay alive.. I won't let anyone hurt you ever again, not a single person, animal, or monster.. just please open your eyes" he kissed her forehead and hugged her
