Adonis shifted as well and grabbed Angel's shoulders, "We'll deal with that if it happens, come on." He twisted her to keep an arrow from hitting her in the neck causing it to graze to top of his shoulder. They had to get out of here or they were going to die so he was relieved when she finally focused her rage on the Hunters, if a little concerned still. He shifted and went off after her, four paws pounding the dirt with everything he had but he felt sluggish. The trees were passing at a much slower rate than they should've been. Something was in those arrows and he suddenly feared they'd be dead soon anyway. He had antidote for the silver, but not whatever poison was on the arrows. That didn't stop him from running though.
The wolf growled as Zane got to his feet, it was a warning, if Zane stayed down, stayed away he wouldn't fight him. However the Hunter lunged at him and he snarled, if he was going to be attacked, he'd attack back. He tried to leap forward but suddenly there was a sharp pain in his hind end and he couldn't move forward. So he moved his front sideways out of Zane's attack and spun to face his attacker. He twisted and sunk his teeth into her leg in an attempt to get her to release him.
Draven had been about to push himself back up when Mercy's white form suddenly flew over him and he dropped back to the ground to keep from tripping her up. As soon as she cleared him though he pushed himself back up. Letting adrenaline help him ignore the pain in his shoulder as he jumped forward. He sank his teeth into the side of the wolf's neck to get him off Mercy again. He really couldn't believe he was attacking another wolf like this. Not that he hadn't ever fought off another wolf but not one that was working with Hunters.
Theron growled as the wolf jumped and his last arrow missed its mark. His gaze went to Aura as she spoke and he frowned. It went against every fiber of his being and every moment of his life to run away from this fight, but he knew one of them had to go, regroup, recruit, and return. It should be her, she would be a better leader than he ever would. However he would not disobey her orders and he would not deprive her of the glory of going out with a fight. He transferred the axe in his right hand to hold both weapons in his left and grasped her shoulder. "Fight well, you will be remembered. I will return to his place and finish them off," he told her before releasing her and taking the axe back in his right hand and taking off. It was short and in no way sweet, a fighter's goodbye. He would not sully this moment with affection or waist valuable seconds with unneeded words. He ran as fast as he could, first going towards the town so they wouldn't think his tracks were leading him anywhere else.
Corbin watched as they both ran out of arrows and his ears flattened in confusion at their words. He didn't expect the man to run away from the fight, expected the woman to tell him to even less. Didn't matter, he could attack the one left, didn't know if he could defeat her, but he could definitely attack her. Others would probably be here soon. As soon as the man was gone he bolted forward with every bit of speed he had and leapt at the Huntress from behind. Putting every bit of rage and hate from the death of his parents into the attack as he crashed into her and sank his teeth into her shoulder.
