"Thanks," Dion said quietly with a nod, although he knew he never would ask, he was never one to ask for anything, even if he needed it. He looked back at the computer and finished with the paper he was writing and sent it in, wondering slightly if the teacher was glad or annoyed that he sent all his assignments in so early. He yawned again as he stood up to take the books he'd been using back to their shelves.

Landry wasn't sure where to look for Mercy but he had gone so far from the cabin, that there wasn't any point in turning around. He smelled and kept running until he heard yelling. He remembered right then. The hunters... He smelled Draven and Corbin then ran up to join them. He told Draven he was here. "Hey, what's going on?"

Draven's eyes went to Landry as he joined the group, with Corbin that made three against two, if something went bad they would win by a long shot. Great. "Negotiations," he replied to the other wolf. A smirk curved the tips of his mouth as he looked back at Marc.

Corbin paused when Josie stopped and sat down, he glanced after Adonis, who didn't even slow down, then looked back at Josie, "We'll be back soon, you can stay if you don't want to hurt your foot anymore."

Aghana nodded and laughed softly, "Yes he is, you should've seen him when I first got him. He was all legs." She looked up at Sirius as he spoke and nodded again, "Well, they ought to be, they were designed and built by some of the best architects money could buy." She laughed softly. My mom was a neurosurgeon and my dad is a lawyer, so they each had quite a bit of money, plus my mom's parents helped out. So they put a ton of money into it when building it. My mom loved horses so she wanted it to be perfect."

"Your mom sounds like a good person," Rama says softly, petting the horse. "I bet your family is really close, huh?"
Sirius looks at Rama, before their parents died he would have said Yeah, well so is ours! Don't you forget it Rowan, if you can't trust your family, you can't trust anyone! Now, all he could do is be quiet. Sure he and Rama were close but the rest of the family had pretty much shunned them.

Aghana smiled, a little longing sadness in the her blue eyes, and turned to Rama, "Yes, she was a very good person." She reached over and grabbed a picture of a couple that appeared to be in their mid-twenties, it was a relatively old picture that was taken about thirty years ago, off a shelf with a few other pictures and knickknacks and showed it to her. "And yes, my family is very close, these are my parents shortly before they got married." She'd noticed Sirius's silence, but didn't press the matter, family issues could be very sensitive and they weren't that close.

"They look so good together," Rama says and smiles.
"You look like them," Sirius says, looking at the picture and remembering his own parents. He looks at the horse and pets him.

Aghana nodded in agreement with Rama as she set the picture back, "Yes they do." She smiled at Sirius comment and laughed softly, "So I've been told, my grandmother used to always say I looked exactly like my dad's sister but with my mother's nose and chin." She smirked as Stormy sniffed at him and nudged his hand.

Sirius keps his attention on the horse. Was it true that these gentle beasts could sense human emotions? He used to to think so, if he got close to a horse they'd nudge him with their heads, almost like they were coaxing him to talk to them. He used to talk to horses, any animal really, but now he didn't. Rama had heard him talking to one and teased him about it. Thankfully he'd been talking about meaningless things, not important things that might make her worry about him.
"Sirius?" Rama's voice cuts through his musings and he looks at her. "Get your head out of the cloads silly. I said your name like five times."

Aghana was smirking at him as she waited for Rama to break him out of his stupor and she giggled slightly when she finally got his attention. "Well it's easy to get lost in a horses eyes. I've spent hours in here just watching and talking to Stormy." She patted her horse's neck and he swung his head over and bumped his head against her shoulder. She laughed and scratched behind his ear before grinning at Rama, "Shall we go find you a mount?"

"Yeah!" Ramam says brightly.
Sirius smiles at Rama, "Be safe, horses are huge."
"I know that," she says sassily.
