He would have to go to a larger city to get the help she was talking about, a place that wasn't some tiny town cut off by mountains, but he had no way to go anywhere.
Adonis smirked at Angel's mutterings and chuckled softly at Raven, "Yea, well she is on some drugs and very tired." He very carefully kept her neck level as they carried her up the porch and replied to her question, "In our room. I want her to be able to sleep as long as possible and that's where she'll be most comfortable." He led the way up the stairs and into their room where he very carefully laid her down, moving the pillow away to keep her neck level. He looked up as he heard a summoning howl and sighed heavily, no rest for the weary.
He made sure Angel was settled in then started back out the door. "I have to go," he grabbed his bag as Althaia walked in with it and headed for the door again.
"I'll stay here with Angel and Cronos if you two prefer to go," Althaia said with a nod to Corbin and Raven, then turned and headed for his room.
Corbin headed quickly after Adonis, mentally preparing for the attack.
Elise was finally beginning to feel bad, and guilty, once more now than her infuriation with him was finally fading. She hated the way he shrank away from her. She was aware that her short temper was short and nasty, there was absolutely no benefits to it either. "I'm sorry" She said with a sigh. "I shouldn't be angry with you. I can take you to aother town or city if you want, there's some fairly near" Elise offered, needing to say something nice if not for him then for herself.
Shaun's mind was running a mile a minute, meanwhile his body was no where near. He was stumbling along, his sight blurry and he tried to keep moving, but his limbs just felt so heavy, dragging him down, slower and slower. He welcomed the scent of home, of the pack and felt relief as the wind direction changed and the scent of Adonis and Corbin got closer and closer. He let out a sigh of relief and happiness, knowing help for both the alphess and Draven was closer than ever. As the blurry figures of Corbin and Adonis graced his vison through the darkness of the forest shade, his body gave out. Shaun lowered himself to the cold ground of snow, the frozen sensation welcomed as his body felt like it was burning. "Mercy....Sorry....Sleep.....Find Draven" The large wolf mumbled, but he was not actively concious enough to know if he said it for real, or if it was a mere rumble in his deep wolfy chest. Shaun let his head drop to flop ontop of his paws, blinking slowely as voices echoed around him.
