Corbin's ears flicked back as she ran toward him and he hesitated a moment but then followed after her.

J-J howled and gently bit him, then she ran. "Come get me!" She said in a bark. She jumped over a log, looking back at him.

A smile twitched on Elise's lips at Mercy's answer. "Somehow I doubt he would fit through the door, even if he tried" She chuckled quietly, glancing at the stallion. She nodded, feeling uncomfortable somewhat with this pack, unlike her old one, for now anyway. "I'll be quick. Sounds like a wise decision" Elise followed her, refusing to look at any of the wolves that hadn't ran from her now. "Not currently, but I'll make sure to ask should I have any" She said, moving away from the Alphess, she led Arion to the trees and loosened his girth, tieing up his reins. "Be good and don't go far Arion" Elise smiled, stroking the stallion's neck with one hand. She pulled her switchblades from the saddle bags, shealthing them on her, wincing as the one against her thigh cut into her hip bone again. Arion nuzzled her and nickered before wandering off, making her sigh sadly, slipping her hands in her back jean pockets. Turning, Elise jogged towards the cabin after Mercy, hoping she wouldn't cause permenant damage. Seeing Draven slip in just before her, she hesitated on the the front porch for a moment glaning back at the wolves remaining in the meadow, then at Arion like she wanted to flee. Bowing her head, Elise stepped inside, casting a fleeting glance between Draven and Mercy, trying to see the connection between them.

Marc didn't bat a eye at her remark or even her look instead he met her gaze head on with his cold expressionless one and asked simply,"What do you want of me Rubi? I don't play mind games. Spit it out or leave me be." He raised a brow at her waiting for her answer all the while he itched to leave. He was getting more and more annoyed.

Mercy saw the nod from Draven as he passed by but she did not greet him back instead she turned her head away slightly but kept a eye on Elise waiting for her answer. Mercy could feel herself getting welled up with emotion and she fought it back. So what if her pack was treating her like an enemy. She was the Alpha and had to obey certain rules..had to do certain things..even if it was against their wishes but for their greater good. Mercy in her head cursed the fate she didn't want but was forced into. Silently she pondered what it would be like without responsibilities..without the wolf..just a normal naive girl. Mercy felt her heart clench so she dropped her line of thinking focusing back on Elise.

Angel watched her mate as he spoke but turned her head away when he was finished to look at the ground in thought as they walked. "I don't know.." She finally said with a sigh,"If you fight and win then your Alpha Male but I would still have to fight all the females and win to be Alpha by your side. One can almost say the old ways are used to determine the strongest female and male.." Angel paused thinking on that then shrugging as she continued to walk.

Raven nodded before turning and padding back into the woods but this time she went into the shadows instantly blending in with the ever getting longer shade. Her black pelt keeping her hidden she began to head back to the cabin. Her paws moving briskly she began to run wanting to get back to see what else was going on. She was sure the conversation about Alpha Male was far from over.

Zane watched her for a minute as she looked at him looking very indecisive till finally he let out a sigh,"Are you going to tell me whats bothering you?" he asked again giving her a exasperated look. He never got why girls couldn't just blurt things out like guys tended to do. It sometimes got frustrating playing the guessing game.

Keira: She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair slowly "Well... I.. Want to talk to you about before.." Her voice trailed on. "You know... Before Marc and Rubi came in..." She mumbled "What were you planning on doing?.." She asked him. She watched him for a little while, waiting for his answer "I'm just.. Curious..." She murmured, fiddling with her thumbs.

Corbin shrugged and followed after her, glad to leave the cabin with the human behind and honestly not caring if Mercy got mad at him for not welcoming her. He came up alongside Josie, but a couple feet from her, and stayed in wolf form.

Draven went to the living room and sunk down onto the couch, he had neither welcomed nor rejected Elise, if Mercy had brought him here then fine, that was her choice, she was the Alpha after all, he didn't plan to fight her on it. He sighed and rubbed at his eyes. honestly he didn't really mind her being here, especially if what she'd said was true, but he wasn't just going to take it on faith that her words weren't lies. But he wasn't treating Mercy like an enemy, he had just done what he could to cut off his feelings for her, and the easiest way to do that was to look at her as only an Alpha.

Adonis shrugged, "Well, the old laws were made back in the days when only the fittest survived. Having the two strongest people in the pack leading and being mates was the best way to ensure strong offspring and the continuation of our kind. Unfortunately times have changed but the laws haven't changed with them." He sighed and shook his head, wishing things could just go back to the way they were when he was a kid, when everyone was happy and he had no hard choices to make. But then that was life wasn't it.

Aghana watched Raven go, amazed at how the black wolf seemed to just melt into the shadows. She watched for a while but never did catch sight of her again so finally she looked forward and clicked her tongue, tapping her heels lightly to Stormy's side. He started off at a walk but when he realized they were heading home, to a warm stall, sweet oats, and good hay, he quickened his pace to a trot, then a canter and Aghana smirked and gave him his head till he was in an all out run.

Rubi laughed, "I play no games, I just want to know why you are so cold," She said as she drug the stone up her sword again, "Your logic has holes, too many holes to be true," She said without looking up.

Marc raised a brow,"Who am I being cold too? I have had no complaints about how I have been acting until now." Marc rubbed his chin briefly realizing he had a shadow then spoke again,"Have you ever thought that maybe its just you thinking I am acting cold." He looked at her his eyes piercing into her even though her back was still turned to him.

Mercy nodded as Elise said she would ask her questions when she got some. Now in the kitchen Mercy popped the food into the microwaves mouth so it would warm it up. Turning she hopped onto the counter her legs dangling off the side and she moved her hair back behind her ear. "So tell me a bit about yourself. What do you like to do besides hunt? Favorite color..you know. Normal stuff." Mercy spoke even though her mind was somewhere else. She didn't know why but she had just day dreamed Draven coming back in..everything being all right again. She refocused on Elise mentally slapping herself some more. This was getting really annoying..she and Draven were going to have to have a talk soon.

Angel frowned as she realized the truth of what he said,"Maybe we should press for the rules to be changed..to be updated." She suggested her mind racing on how they could come about that. It would be something that could make the world for wolves better..right? "I wish the pack could just go back to how it use to be..no fighting..no hunters..the pack playing around." She let out a sigh.

Raven seeing the cabin ran toward it her black fur showing up here and there due the ever longing shadows. Soon she was on the steps her paws clicking on the wood she head butted the door open. Raven paused her nose quivering as a new scent wafted toward her. Another human? Raven shifted as she walked into the living room spotting Draven and her mate,"Whats going on?" She asked.

Zane looked at Keira confused,"I was planning on kissing you. Why..do you not want me too?" He asked his shoulder starting to slump. "I mean..I know its sudden but I am really coming to like you and just thought.." He sighed running a hand through his hair as his eyes shifted to not look at her.
