Corbin looked over his shoulder at the cabin as Mercy and Draven disappeared inside, he curled his lip a bit int annoyance at the idea od a human being there then turned and took off through the forest at an easy run.
Draven watched Mercy go then headed to his own room, feeling rather worn out and not wanting to bother the couple in the livingroom. He closed his door then collapsed on his bed with a heavy sigh.
Adonis nodded, "Yea, well according to Draven, Corbin's not used to talking to people." He shrugged and reached over to stroke Cronos's head when he whined a bit in his sleep and he settled right back down at his uncle's touch. "I don't know, I didn't even know she was working today. She must've gotten called in." He nodded at the last part, "Yea, it does, it seems to be the best place for a job."

But in the corner, at the cold
hour of dawn, sat the poor girl, with
rosy cheeks and with a smiling mouth,
leaning against the wall--frozen to
death on the last evening of the old
year. Stiff and stark sat the child
there with her matches, of which
one bundle had been burnt.
"She wanted to warm herself,"
people said. No one had the
slightest suspicion of what
beautiful things she had seen;
no one even dreamed of the
splendor in which, with her
grandmother she had entered
on the joys of a new year.
