This 'Ezekiel' person seems uncomfortable with me.... That won't do at all. The deep grey-blue orbs looked from the new target of affection to the tall werewolf. There was no way that she could take him on in a bare-hands fight and stand a chance, and Reina herself was not yet sure that he would prove to be a blockage. "Nice to meet you~" She beamed, putting on her most believable mask and shyly holding her hand out to him, scooting a bit closer to Nyx. Reina is a shy little girl who doesn't like strangers. The thought implanted itself in her mind upon her will, not letting it's victim know whether she simply wanted to think this or truly thought this. " 'Zeke'? That's a wierd name...."

Nyx smiled me laughed softly to herself, rolling her eyes. "Zeke is his nickname silly little one. But I like calling him that and he doesn't mind do you?" She looked up with her wide golden eyes blinking several times, showing great innocence. The way that she carried herself was far different from most instances. She just was...normal almost to a point briefly.

The boy watched Nicholas for a second before moving away and stretching his body out wide, so as to pop his back. "Would you mind answering a question?" He didn't actually wait for an answer. "Why do you wish to die? It's completely illogical to wish harm amoung one's self as it completely go's againsts every natural persons sense of self-preservation." He shook his head slowly and chided himself for being so nosey, but didn't stop. "Did you have nothing worth living for? Were you trying to save someone else? Why do you still want to die? I don't want you to die, I conssider you a friend to me now." Where did that come from? He wondered to himself as his dull, lifeless, calculating eyes fell upon the small form oft the white haired adolescent boy.

Ezekiel~
The werewolf boy felt a sudden uneasyness about this new little girl, the way she looked at him... it unnerved him. And it's pretty hard to unnerve a werewolf. "Yeah, you can call me Ezekiel though..." His tone said everything he felt, not hostile, but on his gaurd. "It was nice meeting you and all... but me and Nyx should get going, bye."

Nyx rolled her eyes and chuckled softly before turning to Reina. "Don't mind him dear, he's a bit cautious of strangers.' Then again, normally she was too. But this little girl certainly couldn't harm her...Could she? She didn't know. she stood up, rubbing her stomach thoughtfully as she felt something squirm, though what, she didn't know. She dismissed it as hunger pains and chuckled, stretching and pulling her rainbow hair into a bun.

"No I wouldn't...." he trailed off then and listened to Kidd staying completely quiet then, it was true it was completely illogical going against any natural sort of feeling, he stared down at his hands then and just shrugged, "No... I don't have a reason for living... I-I wasn't even supposed to be here..." he said hoarsely and got silent once more looking up at the other boy then, "y-you consider me a....friend?" he asked looking at him searching for any hint of sarcasm on his expression.

"I just need a reason. A single reason to keep living"

Was this werewolf stupid, or just being insolent? It was hard to tell with that monotone voice he was using on her. But what did it matter..... Reina's deep grey-blue eyes looked up at him, staring into his own with the same (almost) unhuman blankness that they always held. "Going so soon...?" She paused, her eyes turning to saucers on cue. "Did I do something wrong? I'm sorry..." Her voice was reduced to one of semi-hidden sadness, looking up at the male for a few more moments before turning to Nyx, knowing that it'd be easier for her fellow Insane to fall for the little show. So, this man thought he'd take her new favorite away from her? Mean, mean, mean... Why would he do that to a sweet little girl?
As if being directed by some unknown voice, her obscenely oversized cleaver teetered on the edge of that cherry-wood desk for a moment.
A few seconds later, it clattered to the ground, leaving Reina crossing her fingers that the two would simply brush it off as a coincidence.

For the first time in his thirteen years of life, Kidd didn't have an answer. He didn't know if he thought of Nicholas as a friend. For god's sake, he didn't even truly know what a friend was! The raven haired boy stayed silent, his pale face expressionless as his lips parted to speak. "I.... I don't......". His insides heart and his heart pounded against his chest. All he could think was What the h*ll is happening to me! as the adrenaline rushed through his body. It was probably the first time in his short "life" that he had felt anxiety over something. Palms met pants as he wiped away the sweat. "I... I just don't know? I... I think I consider you my friend." It was probably the best answer young Nicholas was ever going to receive from Kidd. There were none of the tell tale signs of sarcasm or plain out deception on Kidd's face, just a mask of embarrassment ( as his cheeks were painted red with cherry blush ). "Do you think of me as a friend?"
(( It's been awhile since I roleplayed, so forgive me if my posts seem suckish. ))

Eyes dart over to the large kitchen instrument, Ezekiels heart races, he can hear the beat in his ears as he grabs Nyx by the wrist and begins to slowly lead her away from the girl. "Like I said, it was nice and all meeting you, but me and Nyx have really gotta bail. See ya 'round." He keeps a wary eye on this Reina, he wonders if his heart is beating so loud that she could hear it. For the first time in his life, he felt as if he were the prey rather than the predator. That was what unnerved him most. It was like a slow tinkle climbing up his spine ever since he came into contact with this strange girl, a tinkle which set off a sparks in his brain as he saw that knife fall. He bit his lower lip and backed out the door.
