Nicholas almost jumped up at the new voice, he looked over at Kid then frowning a little and glancing up and down the corridor before at him again and raising an eyebrow, "how..." he trailed off coughing a little, "how do you know I was... Considering doing that?" he asked hoarsely as always as he pushed himself up, "and where did you com me from...?" he asked then shaking his head almost smacking himself around the head for being 'rude' like, "hum I mean... I've... Never seen you around..." he narrowed his eyes a little holding himself not to poke the boy's eye patch, "and why are you dressed like a pirate?"

Kaleb rested his head in Cole's hair, waiting impatiently for the board's answers. As he looked down, he saw a large scar on Cole's back, and felt himself grow angry. He'd never been very fond of the ways the other test subjects were treated. How they were beaten into submission, but this was over the top. He was just about to scream at someone when his father's voice broke through the angry fog. "Kaleb Matthews, Cole Matthews." He looked up obediently but held Cole tightly. Even if they refused to let them be in a relationship, he would still protect Cole with his life. "Your relationship is approved." Kaleb couldn't help but notice the numerous angry glares that his father was sent after he'd said that. "As for the instruments, however..." His father paused. "How many are we talking? What instruments?"

Cole just stayed there with his face in Kaleb's shoulder, it made him feel safe when the other boy held him closer, protectively. He thought only of Kaleb at that moment and allowed his thumping heart to slowdown. "Th-the cello playing doesn't matter Kaleb.' He whispered, hoping the board didn't here him. "I don't want to make them angry." Cole winced when he thought he heard one of the board begin to speak again but then decided that it was just a trick of his imagination.

Kid stared at the boy in front of him with mixed thoughts, one was that this kid couldn't be serious and two was that the kid must not have realized that he had said 'just one cut couldn't hurt' out loud while staring at his wrist. "My name is Kid, I've been here my whole life and I wear the eye patch because my other eye isn't mine. I'm not dressed like a pirate, I'm wearing what clothing was given to me and you're becoming rather annoying."

Ezekiel stared at the rainbow girl and sighed. "Of course I meant it, the girls I see either want to eat me like a take out meal or drink me like a cold Dr.Pepper." He smirked at Nyx and kissed her forehead. "Plus, none of them speak russian or have occasional homicidal thoughts. That little fact adds a whole lot to the awesome chick fator scale for me."

Nyx grinned and chcukled in amusement, smiling at him and blushing as he kissed her forehead. She blushed and wrapped her arms around his neck briefly as she tilted her head. Her eyes shone like sapphires for a moment as she giggled. "Nice response." She smiled and buried her face into his shoulder, sounding a bit exhausted.

Kaleb stared at his father fearlessly, almost full of hatred. He felt a little pleased that his father still loved him enough to let him get away with stuff, but he wouldn't push his luck. "Cole has just made it clear that he does not mind waiting for permission to play. If the board would keep it in mind, however, his instrument of choice is the cello. He informs me he is very good at it, and it would not be a distraction." He rubbed a hand softly and comfortingly on Cole's back. "We request no more. Thank you for everything." And with a short nod he ushered Cole out the door. Normally they would wait to be dismissed, but the sooner he was out of his father's sight, the sooner he'd feel better about both his and Cole's safety.

The vampire boy sighed with relief as he listened to the door behind him shut. "I guess I'm alowed to say I love you now huh?" He asked with a smile plying across his lips, when he noticed that his scar was showing he quickly adjusted his shirt to hide it and stared into Kaleb's eyes. "I don't know how you're so brave in there but I found it really sexy." He smiled through his blush and waited for Kaleb to reply.

Ezekiel laughed at Nyx's response to his response. "Your adorable you know? But you sound tired, maybe you should get some sleep?" He sounded genuinely worried that she might begin sleep murdering him if she stayed up to long. "Your eyes are really pretty by the way."

Nyx nodded and sighed before getting up from hugging him and swaying a bit, rubbing her head. her blue eyes blinked as she blushed and stared at the ground. "T-thanks." she stammered out and blushed. "but I won't kill you if I don't sleep too well." She giggled as she seemed to read his thoughts.

Kaleb smiled widely and shrugged. "Eh, it's just how I am, I guess." That was a bit of a lie, but he didn't make it known. He took an opportunity to kiss Cole and viciously imagine how much trouble his father might get in for granting them permission to be together. When he pulled back from the kiss he put his forehead against Cole's. "Can we go hang out in one of our rooms?" he suggested, holding Cole close. "I- I need to... admit some things..."

Cole ripped himself away from Kaleb and stared at the other boy, horrified. "A-alone? NO!" He backed into the representative's door feeling suddenly less safe. "N-no...." He looked utterly terrified at the thought. "I can't be alone anywhere with anyone...." Cole reached to the front of his shirt, around where his hip was. This was where his scar curved to his front and not his back. "I freak out if I am alone."

Ezekiel sighed and kissed Nyx again before yawning and stretching out. "Okay then, let's stay up awhile before I just flat out pass out. ((WB for this charrie))

Nyx grinned and laughed softly, a cute little girly sound that sounded more like a 6 year old than a 19 year old. She hugged Ezekiel and blushed as he kissed her. The feeling in her heart caused her to blink and hold her chest. She had never felt like this before; no one had ever been this kind to her. So what was wrong with her?
