Nicholas frowned a little as Adam had just sort of popped them and as soon as he did he sort of zoned out, "Nicholas..." he answered absently when he asked his name and backed up slowly away from them as they seemed to get each other on a conversation that he guesses wasn't for his ears. He smiled softly as he left them and pulled his hoodie over his head and opened up his arms trailing through the halls as his stomach growled a little. He sat down on the hall leaning his back on the wall and just hugging his knees up again nuzzling them a little.

He heard his stomach protest once again and rolled his eyes before closing them, he was determined to see how far he would go without blood, it was just something he was curious to know that and if he could drink his own blood, as the thought crossed his mind he opened an eye staring at his wrist, 'just a small cut...' he though forced his eyes closed again yawning some.

Kaleb Matthews
Kaleb took note of the raised eyebrows of the head of the board, but that wasn't what he was focused on. It was whose raised eyes that caught him off guard. Ah, so his father had been promoted, had he? Kaleb tried not to react to much and just squeezed Cole's hand tighter so the boy couldn't let go. He started right in without permission to speak though something about seeing his father again made him uneasy. "First of all, Cole Matthews and Kaleb Matthews would like permission to be together." His father stayed silent, but Kaleb couldn't read anything behind those eyes. "Second of all, Caleb Matthews would like to request permission to play some musical instruments." After a long pause to show he was done talking, his father turned to the other board members, looking for their input.

Cole stayed silent through this whole exchange and wondered how Kaleb was brave enough to be so rude to the people who could end his life with the flick of their wrists. Cole himself had bowed his head and stared at the floor while waiting for an answer, he buried his face in Kaleb's shoulder and his shirt top fell back a little bit revealing a thin and long scar which started at his shoulder and travelled all the way down to his lower body which was concealed by his pants of course.

Kid walked through the halls of condemned children, his one eye catching the stares of everyone around him as they realized that they'd never seen him before and that he obviously wasn't one of them. It was during one of his small amounts of alone time without people staring at him that he saw a boy who he was lead to believe was named Nicholas. The experiment was quite obviously thinking of hurting himself, poisoning himself with his own blood. "Your own blood will mutate you further." He said in a monotone voice. "Turn you into more of a freak and then kill you, so I wouldn't drink it."

Nyx nodded and stammered something before sighing relief. "Well, if you say they don't i guess it's fine." she laughed softly and rubbed the back of her head, rainbow hair once again falling into her face. She turned pink and stared at the ground. "Did you really mean what you said about me earlier?" She asked quietly. "About me being different from everyone else you've seen around here?" She seemed so unsure of herself, so fragile. Almost as if she might break if the wrong words were chosen.
