Gavin was almost at the back gate when ( she) bumped into someone," Oh, Pardon me miss."

Trinity looked up from the ground, she really wasn't looking where she was going "Oh sorry, it's my fault, really." Trin bit her lip, and feeling curious she asked "You don't happen to work at the palace do you?"

(Because that's what you ask somebody when you meet them, naturally.)

Gavin was suprised," Uhm, yes. Why do you ask?"

Trinity sighed, "It's complicated." She played her face to look truly miserable, hoping to win some empathy. But as Trin hung her head, she looked up at him through her eyelashes. This young man was awfully skinny, and had quite narrow shoulders, he didn't look pretty strong either. Trin was pretty certain she could take him in a fight.

Gavin," Well, G' day to ya then." and continued to the gate, completely unsympathetic.

Trinity glared at his back, trying to get him to submit by the sheer force of her stare. She ran up behind him, pleading (the act of which was not altogether fake) for him to take her to the castle, she needed to get in, even if she had to clear out the outhouses.

Gavin," Some reason you want to get in besides the ball and a job? I guess I can tell them you're my sister..."

Trin feigned gratitude, she felt sorry she was going to have to stab him in the back (metaphorically), he would probably lose his job when she steals the book. She hesitated for a second... "I just need to. I... I, well, oh just please? I need to see somebody." Trinity smiled inside of herself, she was doing an excellent job. She was always able to lie, she didn't understand why others couldn't, it really was simple. The main two rules of it was don't let it show when you stumble upon a truth, and never think of the others feelings, otherwise guilt could overcome you.

Gavin blinked. This girl was suspicious... " I'll meet you in the market square tomorrow so we can talk this over, I have an errand to attend to." and started again for the gate.

Trinity nodded, and smiled to herself, a little time to sneak around before the ball. It was all going perfect.
