Linkheart took her hand and lifted it high in a formal fashion. 'I've been around a bit.' He smiled stepping down the marble staircase. 'Actually that's the short version.'

Alice stepped carefully.
"The short version? I would like to hear the long one when we have time" she said amused.
"Soo... To the food table?" She grinned cheekily.

"We'll dont blame me if I can't rember it all okay?" She laughed.
"So what kind of food do they serve at balls? Does the punch ever get spiked? Wait they probably don't have stuff like that here so they?" Alice babbled on to herself more than Linkheart.

Linkheart laughed. 'At any Ball Minyon throws, especially this one, there will be everything and anything. And yes, the punch does get spiked on occasion.' His cheeky grin seemed even more cheekier then usual. 'Just wait till the dwarves get here!'

Linkheart gave Alice a sweeping look. 'Extravagant as ever.' He said smiling.

The Chamberlain found their names on the list and nodded more to himself. 'Right this way.' He said pulling aside a curtain to reveal a colossal staircase guarded on ether side by two monstrous double doors large enough to accommodate an adult dragon if need be. It lead into another Hall that could easily Dwarf a foot ball stadium. Never could never get his head wrapped around the sheer size of the Great Hall no matter how many times he was invited to it. The chamberlain rammed his staff hard on the top step twice, the noise some how seemed to be magnified for it was far louder then a little staff on stone could produce. The few people in the Hall turned all eyes on the trio. 'Introducing Jay Theodor Fairwood, Senior Ranger to the High King and the Lady Vivian Garret of the Sister world.'

Vicky was too busy trying to close her mouth after it fell open in amazement to notice that they had used her real name "this place.... Is huge!!"

Rose didn't understand how the name taking thing worked so she just walked past it to go in

Shaift sat outside the room, wearing a dark blue penguin suit, without a tie, smiling broadly as he waited for Vesta to come out of the room.

Vesta smiled at herself in the mirror, checking her hair to make sure it was all in place and then smoothing out her dress. Opening the door she peeked around it, smiling at Shaift she opened more and stood in the large room. "What do you think?" She asked, doing a little twirl. She grinned at him, "you look dashing"

He smiled and took her in his arms giving her a kiss, "I guess you can stay in it for a little while." he said teasing her, smiling as he gave her another kiss.

Rose smiled "I've never danced, now we can both try!"

Datura wrapped her arms around him and almost everything faded out

He held her close as he continued to kiss her still moving through the throng of people.
