Linkheart heard them whisper and exchange looks but thought nothing of it, as if Alice would be able to drag him to some fashion show. 'See ya later Leo, and thank you.' He said patting the tall tailors back. He once again looped his arm through Alice's and walked out.

(I already set that one up C: Remember when Never was attacked and Quaint found that note? I was thinking that could be the ball bandit person's Hench man.
Plus I have a few in mind ready to be implemented after the ball with Never >:3)

she sighed "it was stupid, but I wanted someone outside of the whole mess to know what was going on, to help me thing it was real I guess, so I told David. At first he thorght it was a joke but then I showed him my powers" she smiled a little "he thorght it was the coolest thing ever, and I was right, it did make me feel better. So he started trying to help me when demons attacked, they were only low level but I didnt know what I was doing, I lost a few people" her smile faded "he would help me through it, assure me that I was doing the right thing by trying, but then..." her eyes were far away, tears welling up in her eyes, her voice lowered to a whisper "I told him not to come, it was the most powerful I had faced so far, but then he had never been very good at listening to me" she closed her eyes "he died trying to protect me"

"See ya 'round! And thanks!" She said and followed Link.

Linkheart took a huge gulp of fresh air. 'Patience is a virtue.'

It clicked now why she rejected any close companionship, Never wrapped his arms around her in an embrace. 'Hay, bad things happen that are out of our control.' He whispered in her ear. 'Death is a part of life, no matter how much we wish it wasn't so.' He paused sadly in remembrance. 'David lives in your heart, never forget it. He will be with you forever, always and constant.'

her tears spilled over, his words tearing at her heart "but it was my fault" she said quietly "it was perfectly in my control to keep my stupid mouth shut, but I told him anyway, because I'm selfish" she sobbed and burried her face in her hands, stepping away from him

'No idea.' He squeezed her hand. 'But feel free to lead the way for a wander.'

He honestly knew how she felt, the guilt gripped the heart like a savage wolf. 'You are not selfish, you are human and he was your closest friend. I would have done the same- have done the same.' He corrected. 'Do not blame yourself, or your life will be nothing but misery.' He stepped forward and lowered her hands, wiping the tears from her eyes tenderly. 'Every thing has it's time, even you, me, the trees, and this Castle.'

Vicky looked up at him, getting lost in his eyes for a moment before her heart lurched painfully "I had so many things I wanted to say to him" she whispered "I wanted... to wish him back, even if its just a few minutes..." her eyes filled again "but it would never be enough, he should have finished school, gone snowboarding on mount everest or exploring the world" she felt an emptyness in her chest as she thorght of him smiling and telling her of his plans for after school

"I think a nice stroll will do well" she smiled swinging their twined hands.
