"Aras aren't good," Zeke agreed. "But it could be worse." Martin seemed to be about to say something else, but thought better of it.
"How does food sound?" he managed.

Mûdrhun barred the way. "Dina... What did they do?"
"Nothing. Leave me alone!" Dina pushed him aside and just continued walking.
"But, Dina..." Mûdrhun spread out his wings. "I'll go and check with them." He flew up and back to the cabin, without waiting for her reply.

[Wolvine]

Zeke sat down on the sofa as Martin retreated to some room or other. It was easier this way, at least. Calypso shuffled closed to him and started attacking his scarf, much to the Shadowstalkers amusement. After coming close to being strangled, he unwrapped it and dropped it on the Kao, who promptly flew away with it.

Mûdrhun jumped into the cabin, basically crushing the door with his giant claws. "What did you do?", he growled, facing Zeke. "What did you do to her?" He looked quite enraged at that point.

[Wolvine]

Zeke gave a high pitched yelp, falling off of the sofa. "Calm your scales! I didn't do anything. She just had a hissy fit at the fact she couldn't out-logic Martin and left!"

Mûdrhun growled. "And you didn't go with her! It's always the same! You just don't get it, do you? I haven't seen her acting like she acts when you're around since Phil died. She needs you, don't you see that?"

[Wolvine]

"Listen, pal. I've known her for less than a week. I trust her, yes, but I trust one of my best friends, who I've known more-or-less all my life even more. I am not about to follow her around like some lost puppy constantly. She is a good person, but she is spoiled and used to getting her own way. She expects me to do whatever she wants, but ignores every one else, all the time. She refuses to compromise, she won't even stay in one place when her life is in danger. I hardly know her at all, and she hardly knows me, but she doesn't want to admit that!"

"You seem to forget about something. She got you out of that auction house, which basically means you have to do whatever she wants you to. You should be glad she tolerates your refusal to obey orders and hasn't punished you in any way yet. I wouldn't be as understanding as she is." Mûdrhun folded his wings. "You better go after her and try to calm her down, she's quite bad-tempered right now. Oh, and don't talk to me like that, pooch, I'm not your pal and I will never be your pal unless you go and calm her down, now!"

[Wolvine]

"I didn't realize dragons didn't grasp the concept of sarcasm," Zeke scoffed. "Then again, you have managed to practically get yourself stuck in the doorway, so I shouldn't be too surprised. She made it perfectly clear when she bought me that I would be my own man. Besides, even if I was her slave, it wouldn't be my place to go after her when she left. In fact, I'd be expected to stay out of her business."

Mûdrhun shook his head. She shouldn't have gotten him out of there, he causes way too much trouble. "Women tend to say things they don't mean like that, so you can't exactly count on what Dina says. Yes, she may have said that, but you officially are her slave, which means she can change her mind whenever she feels like it. And she's quite moody. And I'll say it again: Women tend to say things they don't mean like that. So if she says you should leave her alone, you actually shouldn't leave her alone. In situations like this one, she often doesn't mean what she says, you'll learn to understand that after a while. Now go, before she starts killing every single animal out there because we just left her alone when she actually didn't want to be left alone. It upsets her quite much that you don't even try to understand her."
