"Your room. 4th door at the third floor, left side", Dina replied shortly and continued reading.

Zeke gave a sigh, following the directions. He hardly made it into the room before he fell down, asleep.

After a while, Dina walked upstairs to look after Zeke.
She stopped in the door frame, looking down at him.
Wow, he must be more than just tired...
She took the blanket and wrapped it around him.
It's getting cold tonight.

Zeke gave a slight whimper, his hand twitching in his sleep. His dreams were not often happy.

Dina knelt down next to him and lay her hand above his.
"Zeke, everything's fine, you're safe here", she whispered.
She knew he -most probably- couldn't hear or feel her, but she felt like she should try to calm him down.

In any situation he might have awakened and stabbed whoever was near him, purely out of reflexes (he cradled his knife against his chest) but he was far too exhausted to even twitch at the contact. He mumbled a little, but remained asleep.

Dina sighed softly and stayed where she was, drawing circles on his hand.
Poor guy...
