(soooo sorry! i'm a bit underground in school work, AP classes maybe weren't the best idea when you plan to have free time. i was lucky today to have only homework from three classes D= haha i'll keep trying to get on as often as possible =) )
Erin snapped out of her trance-like state and half stood, planning on following Shine. but then doubt started to creep in her mind, maybe he just wanted time alone? she thought. she remained in a crouched position, unsure what to say and how she could offer comfort to a thing she had no idea what must be like. a frown creased her usually smiling face and she looked down at the floor. "i'm sorry," she murmured. "that must have been horrible."
It didn't take Lyran long to reach the foot of the mountain. He landed on a sharp rocky outcropping and folded his wings to look around. Jubilee had said to follow the larger boulders to a ledge and then follow the ledge to the alcove where her house was. belatedly he realized he hadn't been watching the rocks, more the countryside and the red-orange sun making it's slow process along the sky. he glanced behind him looking for the rocky path.
