He asked, gently picking up the unconscious boy. Shane looked to be around 30 and was celebrating his 32th birthday along with Jessica.

Jessica had broken her leg in a fight in the crumbled city. She had markings and scrapes all over her body, aside the post war anxiety. She hopped down the stairs with some help from her 10 year old son. He was already 4ft 11 and was growing rapidly. He helped her into the livingroom and sat her down.

Dragon yelped and dropped to the ground unconscious. He changed back to human form, his scales collapsing into his skin. He stayed limp as Shane picked him up. The boy still looked 18, not having aged at all. It was the one bad thing about being a vampire.

Alex smiled as he watched them. His ears flicked as he watched his family. He grunted when Quinn jumped on his back. "Uncle Alex, have you seen Dad? Mom's worried; Luna and Dragon both haven't returned." The boy said and bit his lip, looking at his uncle. "No, I haven't. Have you asked your sister?" Alex asked and Quinn shook his head. "I'll go ask her." He said and smiled before jumping down and running off. Alex smiled and shook his head.

When the dinosaur found the source of the sound, a human girl, she stood over her and let out a growl.
Lowering her head, the massive 5 foot long head of the dinosaur was inches from the human's face. Her nostrils flared as she breathed in the human's scent. Deciding whether or not the human was friend, foe, or lunch.
