" Sorry.." He said sitting up again showing her the snake.
" This just scared me with a bite." He smiled letting her know he wasn't hurt at all

kat relaxed and punched him in the arm. "You made me lose a deer for nothing." She said putting her sword away. "Come on grab your catch and head back. Your mom should be waking here soon." She told him.

He showed her the three rabbits and tied the snake around them.
" I know how to cook maybe if i get a fire started later i can make us stew." He said smiling over at her still

" im fine. Just a lot going on i guess. That place and my mother so i guess its just crashing down on me. " she told him. It wasnt the entire truth but it mostly was. She didint want emment to worry about what they had done to her.

" I'm gonna worry no matter what you say, And i know how you feel, Getting my father back one day and loosing him just a few days later..plus having to run away with no place to go and people i barley know but trust..I may not of been through what you have but i've had my share."

Kat let a tear fall. She wanted to comfort him but she had to hold herself together. She turned her head so he wouldnt see her tears fall.

He smirked looking over at her but the quickly disappeared as they came back to the hiddout and he saw his mother standing over lyze..A bloody rock in her hand.
" mom!" He said running over wanting to know what the heck had happened

Kat's eyes got wide and she pulled out her sword. "What did you do!" She growled at her. She looked over at lyze unsure if she saw he breath or not. "He was all the family i had left. The only other person i trust." She continued advancing with the sword placed on her throat. "There is only two things keeping me from killing you or even returning you to that place. It is our deal and the fact that you are emment mother." She finished.
