War looked to Scatty, and cringed when the carrot hit him in the shoulder. "He was always a cowboy."
The fact that she was told Pestilence and War were pretty much her age didn't comfort her. People her age went to booze-parties and made fools of themselves.
Pestilence, however was focused on Scatty's remark about not hitting him with a carrot. "Hey, even if you tried, it wouldn't hit me," he challenged.

Cyrus laughed a little at the explanation and let her get on with eating without asking any more questions. He started actually eating the pizza he'd bought for himself since he was also hungry, but perhaps not as hungry as the vacuum sat next to him.

"With the hat and everything?" Victoria mimed out a hat as she found a bar of chocolate in the fridge. "Yeah I know Pezzy you do the weird, I'm here and now I'm smoke thing." She climbed down from the counter and promptly fell onto the floor. "Y'know that IV you were talking about earlier, normally I hate them but right now one would be great... Possibly some blood too I'm a bit light headed."

Pestilence looked to War, expecting an answer.
"She's a doll!"
"... Uh-huh..." he flicked his gaze down to Scatty as he put his hands on his knees. "Want streak, too?"

It took six slices of pizza before Lorelai was able to pull in her teeth. She ate the last two slices and then sat there for a moment in satisfied silence as she wiped the sauce from her face with a napkin. Ah, now she could finally think straight! She remembered her ears and pushed the hair back over them from when Cyrus had tucked the pink strands out of the way, giving herself a more human appearance. "Thanks. For the pizza, I mean," she mumbled. She didn't normally say thank you for such small things, but it seemed she'd have to be civil to Cyrus if she wanted to keep him.

Victoria grimaced, and pulled a face when War seemed to call her a doll. "I'm not a doll, I got shot twice in the head, I'm still only part way through a healing cycle. That's why I'm eating pretty much everything I can find." She pushed her mess of hair out of her eyes and glanced over at Pestilence, "I like steak, yes please."

"You're welcome." Cyrus smiled and picked up another slice of his own pizza before offering some of it to Lorelai. "Seriously, you haven't actually eaten in the past two days? That's quite an achievement to be honest." He pulled a face when she covered up her ears again.

[Falls]

Lorelai shrugged, eyeing the offered pizza for a moment before taking it and inhaling that slice as well. "It wasn't an achievement, it was stupid. I should've eaten the food Zania brought as soon as she gave it to me. After that, there wasn't much of a chance to eat, considering Famine drugged me. When I get my hands on the ba*****..." She growled quietly, but broke off when her gums began to ache.

"Well, I think I would have preferred the drugging rather than being shot in the head." Cyrus tilted his head to the side with a faint chuckle. "Teething troubles?"

Pestilence nodded once before looking to Evelyn. He snapped his fingers a couple of times, struggling to remember her name. "Evelyn, right?... You mind giving me a hand, here?"
Evelyn sighed and got up, waiting to be instructed.
"Could you grab her by her legs? On three we'll pick her up."
"Sure."
"Okay... One... Two... THREE."
With a heave the two moved Victoria to the table where Pestilence immediately searched for a pulse.

Victoria yelped as she was picked up, and she wasted no time in glaring at Pestilence. "What are you doing?" She frowned at him, rather irritated with the whole 'pick up Victoria like she's a rag doll thing'.

Lorelai blushed, scowling at Cyrus and hastily shaking her head. "Teething is for infants. My gums just hurt, that's all. I'm sure yours would too if your teeth were constantly trying to lengthen and sharpen in your mouth!"
