Evelyn frowned. "I'm not funding everything for him," she protested. "I am giving him a lot of... Luxuries... Yes. I admit. But he never had them as a boy. I'm also paying for his school, and for his medical bills, and clothing..." She sighed. "I love you, too... But... I... I'm not giving up on this... Not quite yet."

"W-well... You still had people who cared for you..." Evelyn uttered, deciding to put it that way. "Even before you met... all of us. You had some of your cleaning staff who legitimately cared for you... Zane's largely had to care for himself, and work to get the things he needed... He's... While I get it that things are better for him now, he's certainly jaded for a reason."
Evelyn stood there for a moment, then looked to the mirror, then looked back.

Cyrus was completely ready to point out that Zane's twin had turned out alright, but the question caught him off guard. "What do you mean?" He ran his fingers through Evelyn's hair for a moment and gave her a quick hug. "You certainly made me feel wanted by someone. And loved."

Zane pouted slightly, nuzzling Akira softly and sighed. "....Fine, fine...Later, though. I promise I'll do it after a little sleep...Maybe a kiss or two....Order some room service...You know, in fact...I think it may be altogether better for me to call her in a few days. I'm a very busy man, I'll get around to it when I have time~" He put off lazily, and smiled. "Besides, I prefer being with you than her." He mumbled, the statement sadly only half-true. He truly still did care for the girl...D**n his heart.

"Well, there were plenty who did that to you sweety," Evelyn said in a pointed voice. "Many girls wanted you, and certainly loved you in their heads- Lor..." she hated mentioning her. "Lorelai stood up and tried- and there were others before her that were just as real..."

Cyrus shook his head as he kissed Evelyn's cheek. "Evelyn my love, you love me for my soul and personality. Others loved me for my abs and money... I'd say you quite like the abs too..." He brushed her fingers through Evelyn's hair for a moment and took a step back. "Actually I didn't go out with anyone before Lorelai... And she never had my love like you do."

Akira blushed, happy when Zane lied and said he preferred her company to Evelyn's. "You do?" She grinned and kissed him gently, "But you have to call her sometime today it may be important."

Zane hummed happily, glad Akira bought his lie. "Of course...You're my girlfriend now...Why wouldn't I want you around?" He purred lowly, gently nuzzling her and sighed. "...Eehhh....Later." He grunted.
