~~~"I leave you guys alone for one minute..."~~~
By now, Pestilence had finally cleaned himself up enough to be pressentable enough in stand-still public. Though age was definately apparent on his tan features he didn't seem to care one bit about it. Though he wasn't grinning at all; laugh-lines were still seen at the corners of his lips, and his hair did anything but gray in his after life; including grow long and greasy, and sometimes even silky.
That was the thing about Pezzy. Some days he looked like he was trash off the streets; others, his pressence commanded attention by even the most high of authorities.
As he walked back out, from the restroom; he noticed two things.
1) War was making something in the bar next to the frozen; "hello-my-name-is ________"... Which was odd, to say the least.
And;
2) (Pestilence counted his fingers on his hand again to double-check himself, and make sure that he hadn't just over-looked it... But no.) They were missing people....
"Aw, nawww..." he said to himself with his irritation slowly rising.
"We did not just already loose people. Please for the love of the nine; that did NOT just HAPPEN..."War looked over.
"Huh?""You three were supposed to be making sure they were here!" Pestilence said sharply, though not through yells.
War looked around.
"Wait. We're missing somebody?""What are you even doing?!" Pestilence finally blurted.
War smiled smuggly.
"Making Vicky some coffee, Pezzy! Don't worry it's decaf."Pestilence paused and blinked.
"Wait. You're making someone else--"War merely raised his eyebrows from underneath his sunglasses, hinting at something.
"Right... I guess I have to go get them, then?" Pestilence asked.
"You could...." War said.
"I'd be nice and it would show off your 'southern hospitality'."Pestilence paused, thinking a moment. Then out of nowhere came a smile.
"Acutally. I have an even better idea. You done making that coffee yet?"War popped a plastic lid on the coffee to ensure it was safe in his hands.
"Yeah. Why?"With the dexterity of an acrobat, Pestilence snatched the coffee from War's hand and headed off to the sleeping damsel.
"I'm letting Victoria have a crack at her job... After all; a true gentleman always lets the ladies go first!"
