Honestly, your ears are cute, they give you a sort of meschevious and mysterious look while remaining, undeniably cute." He tilted his head to the side as he noticed the jealousy... Envy. "Yes of course it's easy to explain why the green eye works during the day and the red eye works only at night and why I can't see a thing at sunset or sunrise." He reached forwards again with a grin and pushed her hair back behind her ears once more. "You have a cute face too I just couldn't see it before."

Evelyn could see that her intervention clearly hadn't been wanted... And that rubbed her the wrong way. She slowly stepped back to where Chris was, shaking her head.
"I'm going to hate my job with a passion," she said bluntly. Especially if I have to deal with people driving up romantic tension. I mean, come on? Here? Really?

Famine gave Victoria a frown. "I'm not a slave," he said defensively. "Got get it yourself. It'd help you stay awake..."
A hand found it's way onto Famine's shoulder.
"Don't worry, I'll get it, bro. No sense in letting such a pretty girl do things while an able-bodied man is around, and I needed to stretch anyway." With that War stood up, stretching his large back, and popping a few bones in his neck. "Be back in a bit."

[Falls]

Lorelai's furious blush returned and she clenched her jaw, trying her best to ignore how many times Cyrus used "cute" to describe her. She shook her head, her eyes narrowing as her lip curled up into a smirk. "You can just tell them you were simply born with two different colored eyes. It wouldn't be lying and it wouldn't be unheard of." Her hand itched to pull her hair back over her face, but she refused to let Cyrus know how much of an unsettling effect he was having on her.

..... Victoria looked up when she heard War, and frowned slightly at her reflection in a spoon that had been abandoned on the table. "Never heard that I'm pretty before... Normally it's scary or terrifying... I like it though... Someone thinks I'm pretty." A ghost of a smile made it's way onto Victoria's face and she rested her head back on her hands. Victoria had just told the truth- no one had ever actually called her pretty before, even though she'd been alive for milenia.

..... "I did try telling people I was born with different colored eyes, the kids at my school called me a devil because it's not natural for someone to have a red eye." He frowned slightly watching her quietly for a few moment, before reaching forwards and pushing her hair back over her face. "Alright fine if you don't believe you're pretty."

[Falls]

Lorelai held perfectly still under Cyrus's touch, not allowing herself any movement until his hand was back on his own side of the table. "It's not that I think I'm not pretty. It's just that I'd hardly believe such sweet talk coming from you." She arched an eyebrow at him and picked up her coffee, taking a quick sip and wishing the liquid was still warm. Cold coffee. Yuck. She tilted her head forward and let the rest of the stray hairs fall infront of her eyes, creating that small illusion of safety the concealment brought to her.

..... "Oh yes sorry, I keep forgetting I'm a different breed of person." He shook his head with a slight smile. "What's wrong with me am I not allowed to tell people they are pretty? Would you prefer me to tip milkshake over people's heads and call them ugly instead? Just because I have money doen't mean I can't tell people if they look nice." He arched an eyebrow at her in return, and then pulled a funny face for the heck of it.

[Falls]

Lorelai rolled her eyes and rested her head wearily in her hands, giving a groan at the stupid face Cyrus pulled. "I think I prefer the milkshake," she muttered, a small smile teasing at the corners of her lips. "Idiot." She looked back up at Cyrus and gave a little chuckle. "You're such a... I dunno. You're just really weird, you know that?"

..... Cyrus shrugged, "Come on, I'm bored of cafes." He stood with a laugh, "Yes I'm very weird... Coming?" He pushed open the cafe door, holding it open for Lorelai to follow him if she wanted to. "Coming for random interesting weirdness or staying and being bored?"

[Falls]

Lorelai hesitated, eyeing Cyrus suspiciously. She finally stood with a reluctant sigh and crossed the cafe, walking to the open door. "Whatever," she mumbled, brushing past him and stepping outside. Her pale pink hair swayed about her face as she turned her head, surveying their surroundings with a critical eye. "Where are we?"
[where are they? What country and such? And is everyone frozen or just the coffee shop staff?]

..... Cyrus grinned lightly and closed the door behind them, "We're in the center of this incredibly small town." He led the way down the street, dodging past frozen people with a grin, then pulling a marker out of his pocket and drawing stuff on someone's face. "Do you like arcades?"
